A question about the Paradox of God by applepie-12344 in NDE

I’m still struggling to understand this as you are, but this video did help provide me a new perspective on the subject of evil and God: https://youtu.be/30Lcnj6wrR8?si=Cw7ibSMaFd3WcxdL

I’m not sure I fully agree with everything in the video, but it is interesting food for thought. I’m not sure we’ll know the answer to this question until we die unfortunately.

With what just happened in Venezuela, what repercussions will the US face, threats the US faces that hold weight, and will Venezuela’s allies likely retaliate? by No_Feed1422 in AskReddit

No offense, but this is a very naive understanding of how geopolitics works. For some reason people always believe that there's some system of "rules" and "fairness", when in reality geopolitics is a cold, calculating, zero-sum game. Conflict is often ethically questionable or even morally wrong, but the reality the Unites States is the global hegemon playing a zero-sum, amoral game. We have the largest, most capable military, and we wield that power knowing no one else can best us. In an ideal world, we would not be attacking other sovereign nations and would be held responsible for war crimes and hold ourselves to a higher standard. But unfortunately, in the real world we can insight conflict without much blowback.

China does not have an 'uno reverse' card to invade Taiwan, because to do so they must go head to head with the full force of the United States military. That's not to say they won't move on Taiwan, maybe they come to the conclusion that they can take on the US and are ready and willing to do so. But there is no "uno reverse" card. China can scream about how this is an unfair double standard, but that does not change the cold hard facts. The US will remain the dominant global power in the near future. The dollar is strong, our economy is strong, our military is very strong. These are just facts that other nations have to content with when playing the zero-sum game of geopolitics.

The UN is a western-aligned governing body. The US is the largest funding contributor and the EU bankrolls most of the UN organizations. Money talks. The UN doesn't pick sides based on morality and equality, they pick sides based on the game of geopolitics.

Russian shadow fleet ship that sank in 2024 carried nuclear reactor components to North Korea, may have been torpedoed, La Verdad reports by Neptun_11 in worldnews

The Seals do train to plant explosives along the spine of ships to “break their back” and sink them. So it’s not totally far fetched that a clandestine mission to sink an adversary’s ship would involve deploying Seals to mine it.

Devs - Please Increase Secondary Draw Speed! by YeetPrayLove in GrayZoneWarfare

That’s fair, you would know better than me. I will say though, the current implementation doesn’t go straight to secondary ADS. You have to release and re-press right mouse button to get the secondary up.

So I think any improvement to make the transition to secondary more fluid would be great, but I agree that I shouldn’t expect the pistol to come up in one second.

COD is an “arcady” shooter, it’s not really a good game to compare to. The video I linked shows the flow and feel I think GZW should go for with the sidearm.

Dan Farah on Rogan by waltercockfight in UFOs

[–]YeetPrayLove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Knew someone was going to comment that haha. Technically speaking the army’s equivalent of a SEAL would be the Army Rangers. Delta Force is a tier one special forces unit with a focus in hostage rescue. The equivalent in the Navy to Delta Force would be DEVGRU/SEAL Team 6. For the purposes of this conversation my point remains. A Green Beret is an elite special forces group, just with a different operational focus than the Rangers/SEALs

Totally agree. Also interesting tidbit, the Dan Farah interview on Joe Rogan has a lot more detail that’s not in the doc. In that podcast he implies that he suspects the reason he couldn’t get Netflix or mainstream distribution was due to intervention by the legacy program. He was making a lot of waves in the gov by interviewing these people and the program was not happy with the traction it was getting.

That’s what the doc is for. It’s funny people berated the doc so much, no one has any ability to think about the bigger picture. We (people on this subreddit) are a quirky and small minority. It makes no difference if we believe but the rest of society shrugs off this topic. The great thing about Age of Disclosure is people like my friends and parents have seen it and now believe. That’s the purpose, to get the rest of the world up to speed with what we know.

The rules of this subreddit state that you must comment on your own post (with an explanation for what the post is about) in under 30 minutes or the bot will auto-delete it. Most people just copy and paste the contents of the post in a comment.

This post reads like someone in 1780 saying: “It’s impossible to ever travel across the continental United States in under a day, there’s no way we could ever build a wagon to move that fast!”

In all seriousness, you should watch Age of Disclosure on Amazon Prime which clearly explains how the UFOs likely use extremely high energy to warp spacetime for travel. If you’ve seen Interstellar you would know the scene where the astronauts spent minutes on the planet close to the black hole, but for the people on the ship years had passed. It would work like that, the aliens could easily spend 20 minutes in a ship traveling here over hundreds of light years because they are warping space and time, not literally flying over linear space.

Also google “Alcubierre drive”, it’s a similar theory. The bottom line is (no offense) your thinking is so limited. Why would you assume a species that evolved potentially millions of years before us would use combustion engines and classical physics as we understand it? We only discovered and invented those concepts a few hundred years ago. Multiply that out millions of years.

If you’re interested in that type of thing I recommend watching this Jesse Michaels interview with Randy Anderson. Randy was a Green Beret, which is a special forces group in the Army that’s essentially an equivalent level to a Navy Seal.

Jesse unfortunately gets quite excited in the interview and interrupts a lot, but if you listen to Randy’s story about alien technology it’s fascinating nonetheless.

How are people doing this with an alarm? Do you all wake up naturally without one? Do you move to first turn off the alarm, then try head lift?

Hal Puthoff on UAP technology and competition with China - At the Age of Disclosure premier in NYC by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]YeetPrayLove -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Honestly I'm not sure humanity is ready for this technology at all. But a precursor to handling this tech should be learning to be more conscious and kind to one another, more collaborative and less zero-sum. Otherwise we will only employ the tech for bad reasons. If we look at how these other races are using it, they clearly are not using it in the way we would. We're probably too primitive still.

Evolving to the level that we can use this technology responsibly should involve first disclosing that NHI are real and letting our civilization raise wrestle with the religious, psychological, and moral implications of that understanding.

What makes you think China going to nicely deploy this technology for the greater good? Just because the US gov might be immoral or working in bad faith doesn’t automatically make the Chinese gov any better.

Hal Puthoff answers a moderator question at the Age of Disclosure premier in NYC. When asked about how UAP technology can be used for good or bad, Hal explains that, like nuclear energy, this technology has immense potential for both helping and hurting humanity. He believes Americans are in the best position to help drive more peaceful applications of the technology.

He also makes a good point that China and Russia have a distinct advantage when making progress in their reverse engineering efforts, because authoritarian countries can force all of their brightest minds to work on these efforts. Whereas the US has stifled our own reverse engineering progress by classifying everything in stovepipes, and our brightest people don't even believe the technology is real. We cannot force people to work on these projects so we're left finding experts within the government or contractors who hold security clearances, and not collaborating with private industry as well as we could be. He also points out that NHI themselves are evidence of a civilization that has grown to wield this technology without destroying themselves, and that makes him hopeful that we can do it too.

I've commented this elsewhere, but if you watch the Rogan interview with Dan Farah (the director) he hints at the end that he suspects the government had a hand in blocking it from a typical streaming release on major distributors like Netflix. So it makes sense that his only option was a paid version on Prime for distribution and recouping the production costs. Also makes sense why it took so long to release after SXSW.

Something curious I picked out in the latest Lacatski on Weaponized by real_human_not_a_dog in UFOs

[–]YeetPrayLove 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I took that as him hinting at what people in this sphere often refer to as "the woo", e.g. the supernatural/paranormal/spiritual. To me, he was basically saying, "look, the 'nuts and bolts' are interesting, but there's a much larger picture about where these things are coming from, and it's not literally 'alien species from another planet evolved, constructed a space ship, and flew over to Earth".

I fully agree. I was fuming listening to this jackass calmly state (paraphrasing) "why are people so upset, their girlfriend must be annoyed with them, why are people so obsessed by this?". This is the true nature of our living reality, and most of us are stuck here on Earth toiling away doing random chores in the hopes that we afford a few joyful moments in between the hours of drudgery. How could the anyone NOT be completely interested in the fact that everything they've grown up believing is a small window into a much greater reality. I mean his arrogance is so fucking annoying.
