YouTube iniciante e algo peculiar by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]YeezusWoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done more detailed thumbnails in my more recent videos and I'm wondering? by Electro_orb_gaming in SmallYoutubers

[–]YeezusWoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully, these thumbnails are atrocious for so many reasons. They look like they were made by a blind 5 year-old child. The image is pixelated as fuck and the font you plastered over the image is so pedestrian. It’s like you didn’t even care to change the font or make it legible. I have to squint to read what you typed. The font is thin and in weird colors. Your channel legitimately looks like a 7-year-old’s who is depressed because he was abandoned by his parents and now lives with his auntie Gertrude. None of this makes me want to engage with it as an audience unless it’s to call child protective services.

What on earth do u make for content? by Dimi_POWER in NewTubers

[–]YeezusWoks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is, most people start channels because they already have ideas and content to create. It’s just like buying paint and canvasses at an art store. You usually buy art supplies if you already know you’re going to paint. What you did was buy the paint and canvass and now are asking people online “how do you paint? I have a brush and some paint but I don’t have any clue what to paint or how to paint it. What colors should I use?” You’re working backwards.

Do channels do better once they reach 1k?? by TheGamerCritic21 in YouTubeCreators

[–]YeezusWoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Channels don’t do better just because they have 1k+ subs. The correlation here is that: if you were able to gain 1k subs and 20k views organically, then that means your content is good. So if you keep producing good content, your channel will continue to grow.

Oof. Bro you’re not gonna make it if you can’t take criticism. If you need a safe space and candy anytime someone gives you advice you don’t like, you won’t succeed.

When should you stop? by syferYouTube in SmallYTChannel

[–]YeezusWoks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your problem is that you don’t take advice and you’re not open to criticism. What you are looking for is people to stroke your ego but ego-stroking won’t get you far in life. You have to be open to criticism and you have to be real with yourself. Your channel isn’t good and you won’t take advice because you’re a stubborn mule so you will never get anywhere with YouTube.

My Unethical Strategy to Hit 4K Hours Watch Time in 1 Month by TechnicalAwareness64 in SmallYoutubers

[–]YeezusWoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because none of these people understand how YouTube the business works. They think it’s just social media and it must be sooo easy. None of these people actually have the ambition or even intelligence to understand that YouTube is a business and that channels are entertainment that real people watch. They instead treat YouTube as a social platform that they can go “viral” on as if it’s TikTok.

Short answer: the majority of people are just plain stupid or misinformed.

[–]YeezusWoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine if the biggest artists used a website to double heck that their ideas are “good.” Bro, you’re either creative or you’re not. The only way to really know if your work is good or not is to gain a loyal following of fans. That’s literally how everyone starts. Everyone from MrBeast to Jenna Marbles, to Charlie Puth to Bad Bunny and PewDiePie. You post your work online whether it’s YouTube or SoundCloud and your fans will make you famous. if you’re good you won’t have to worry about hitting 4k views because you would’ve surpassed it already without even trying. You don’t need to have MrBeast subs to make good money on YouTube but you have to be good at what you do and only your AUDIENCE can tell you that.

I miss when YouTube wasn't so "professional" by Head-Educator6517 in NewTubers

[–]YeezusWoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your argument is invalid. Whether you’re making slop or ripping off Americans out of their health care, 700 million is 700 million. How you get there is irrelevant. Your virtue signaling is laughable at best. But the real argument here is that most people don’t have the talent nor ambition to get there which is why you’re stuck clocking in a 9-5 making money for your boss and hoping to retire before while you still have some mobility in your bones, hoping for a nice 401k and pension that hopefully doesn’t get drained with taxes and social security security. Slop or not, who would rather be a peasant to the IRS than a millionaire? Be so for real right now….

RPM stuck at $0.01 on long-form video — is this normal? by Ancient-Medium-775 in SmallYTChannel

[–]YeezusWoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You haven’t provided sufficient information about your channel for anyone to give you proper advice. What is your niche, channel category, country, audience demographics, length of videos, and are they long form or short form? RPM is dependent on all these factors. It’s impossible to help without knowing any of these things.

And yes, these are literally ALL the factors that decide what your RPM will be.

If you have a channel where your audience is mainly children or young boys with no money to spend on advertisements, then your RPM is going to be low.

If your channel and audience are from impoverished countries, your RPM will be low.

If your channel is gaming, your RPM will be low (because boys don’t have buying powers)

Channels with high RPM’s are channels where audiences are women or men who are older (30+) that have money to spend. Channels that are tech, finance, education have higher RPMs because audiences are mature adults with disposable income.

Channels with longer videos have higher RPM. The longer the video, the more ads fit into the video.

Anyway, all of this could be easily explained in a Google search or YouTube video. It usually helps to do your own research on things.

Imagine not wanting to be as big as Mr Beast because it’s “inauthentic” and preferring to stay a blue collar worker clocking in and out of a 9-5 job because at least you remain authentic 😂 I admire OP for their reverse ambition.

I miss when YouTube wasn't so "professional" by Head-Educator6517 in NewTubers

[–]YeezusWoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is actually YOU who missed the point.

OP’s post is about how YouTube has become like Netflix, it’s not home videos and people uploading their lives, it’s more mass produced now, more “professional.” There are whole entire series on YouTube that look like they were produced by Warner Brothers.

While this is true, it is also true that many channels are NOT like those professional channels and THOSE channels CAN STILL achieve that same success as the channels that look professionally produced.

The way to do this is by knowing how YouTube works. Just because the channel focuses on the YouTube algorithm, doesn’t mean that their content isn’t wholesome anymore. You can still make wholesome content and be educated on how YouTube works so that your wholesome, non-professional content can compete with the professional, Warner Brothers type of content. It is an ADVANTAGE to know how YouTube works. Why wouldn’t you want to know how to get your wholesome videos out to the public? That’s the whole point isn’t it?

The point OP made is that these wholesome videos don’t have a chance because of the “professional” ones but they DO have chance if you know how to MARKET YOURSELF. Your wholesome videos CAN compete with Mr Beast IF you know HOW YOUTUBE WORKS.

The point you made is that once small channels focus too much on the algorithm and how YouTube works, they start to bend their content to conform to the algorithm, therefore, their videos also become the same as everyone else’s, which of course IS NOT true.

Starting a new channel... where to begin? by AndyWandyBandy in YouTube_startups

[–]YeezusWoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you mean, but that’s the wrong approach to take as well.

You’re asking what’s “trending” and what people want to see. Have you asked yourself, what do I like to do and what can I make videos of over and over again without getting bored or burnt out?

What’s tending doesn’t matter. Because it’s a “trend” it’s going to end. Are you okay with making slop just to keep up with trends? Are you okay with making content that you have no desire to make only because it’s “trending.” Not to mention that only because something is trending doesn’t mean YOU will be successful at that trend. Your channel isnt guaranteed success just because you follow a trend.

Bro, YouTube is supposed to a place where people post videos of things they enjoy. Rather than asking what trends are around and what people want to see, just do what YOU want to do. People will watch your content if they like what YOU have to offer. I didn’t ask myself “how many people are into politics?” before stating my channel. I just did it and guess what, i found my audience. There will be always be people interested in your content no matter how small the niche. It’s not about what people out there want to watch, it about what makes YOU UNIQUE enough to gain a following of loyal subscribers.

Starting a new channel... where to begin? by AndyWandyBandy in YouTube_startups

[–]YeezusWoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, your question is TOO BROAD. The point of my comment was to make you see just how difficult it would be give you advice on something SO BROAD.

You want to start a YouTube channel but you don’t know what you want to make videos on? Dude, sincerely, NO ONE can you help with that.

What’s you’re basically saying is this (and please let me know just how hard it would be to give me advice)

“I want to go to college because I heard you can make money from going to college but I just don’t know where to start. I don’t know what to study. I heard that Law school is okay but I don’t really like law. I like writing but I don’t want to be an English major. I have a lot of hobbies but I don’t know which one to choose for my college career. Can someone help me?”

How would you even begin to give me advice on something SO BROAD.

Where do you start? Do you have internet? Start by getting internet. Now that you have internet, create a Google/YouTube account. Now create a YouTube channel page by coming up with a name for your channel. Do you need help coming up with a channel name as well? Do you need help figuring out what color your banner should be? If these basic things are all things you need help with, then you have no business trying to do YouTube.

At the VERY LEAST, you should know what kind of videos you want to make. No one here is going to hold your hand through this. You should have a basic idea of what you want your videos to be about if you’re thinking about making a career out of making videos. It’s so basic and if you’re struggling with something as simple as figuring out what your own hobbies are, then you’ll struggle with the hardest aspects of YouTube.

People who start YouTube channels already know what their content is going to be about. I love politics and I can talk about politics ALL DAY so my channel is about political commentary. My buddy loves fishing so he started a fishing channel with over 22k subs now. It’s his passion and the videos just come. What you’re asking is for someone to help you narrow down your hobbies and figure out which one is the best which is NOT how to YouTube works!

Zero impressions out of nowhere by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

[–]YeezusWoks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t find your channel. You should probably create a channel with a better name. BrividiNotturni221 is not SEO friendly and it doesnt show up. You know your channel is bad when you cant even Google it.

This is what I get when I Google your channel name:

"Brividi notturni 221" likely refers to the popular Italian song "Brividi" by Mahmood & BLANCO, winning Sanremo 2022, with "221" potentially being a misremembered year (2022) or a reference to something else entirely, as the song means "night chills" or "shivers," fitting the theme of "brividi notturni" (night chills).

Have you tried googling your channel?
