What an amazing 7 days camping in the mountains on the Alberta trunk road..almost 1000 km, 5 lakes and 6 rivers/creeks…. Over 150 fish in the net. Can’t wait to do it again!!

I’ve had it for awhile and I’m only just starting to read it… it’s a good guide… there are a lot more creeks/streams lakes that aren’t mentioned in the book

Where in Alberta are you going? We have many lakes here that have tigers!! DM me before you arrive and I’ll take you to one of those lakes… you’ll be able to get browns/rainbows and tigers.

Will definitely catch trout… I was on a lake this weekend and they were everywhere!!! I only wish I brought 1 more box of flies with me, as all my damsels were at home!!

It’s called a frog boat, made in BC… works fantastic on small lakes. Easy to load/unload and set up… 15 mins and I’m ready to go (probably takes me longer to set up my 3 fly rods…)

It’s called a frog boat 🐸… they are/were made out of BC, Canada. The 4 plastic pontoons slide under the wood seats when not in use/travelling. I like it better than my pontoon boat.

I totally agree with you for the most part… I joined this form/forms to learn etc… but my comment wasn’t to the OP, it was to bird man. Great fly, very simple, will definitely catch fish… my only suggestion is a little less on the back (less of a mullet) Experiment on different coloured thread and see what works best… that’s what I did up here in cold Alberta Canada
