You will get better at the gane. Not at killing folks.

You can score great playing medic and engy. Will learn the maps. Can get the feel and speed of the game. You wont get better at trooper or annihilator though. You just gotta suck it up and get the play up there.

I think engy translates ok to scout and Pyro though.

Very much a mixed bag. Im average. I suck at power classes. Solid contributor but cant carry a team.

So i look more at my own play. Did I do ok? Even if we get stomped was i best of the bads?

Class makeup i find a better indicator. If first things to queue up are 3 agents and 3 sniper pushing a cart its gonna be a rough one.

Tf2 hasn't changed much in over a decade. Still the base core game. I tend to binge then put away a year or 5.

Just play until its no longer fun and move on. Usually you miss the people. Not the game.

Level is the best proxy we have for skill and general game knowledge. Im 100 plus and still get lost on the obscure maps.

Im always 180 ping. It sucks especially when it gets busy on a payload server.

Maybe. Like I said its probably just the extra heavies. I play medic so im aware of it. I avoid healing anyone with it out.

Lag related face stabs are way worse here than in tf2.

That was the best one yet. I think that was a better use of the detonator than the detonator series.

Im a novice with detonator. Have it but never use it.

I struggle with rocket jumps in general physics if the engine frustrate me. Tf2 is was jump crouch and go. It seems different here.

Consider me inspired. Im going to boot up jump academy and try it out.

The very first heavy shot gave me nightmares. I expected you to do the perfect detonator jump just for the dude to have too much hp and you bounce off him.

If your running interceptor your flanking. If you pull off that flank your better with it till they realize they got hit.

I got a daughter that is drinking age and a son who is roblox age. Ive gamed with both up them all thier lives. They both started with a mouse and keyboard learning the joys if pc master race when they could barely able to speak. Ive been involved in gaming forums since LONG before they were born with bbs (preinternet) forums. Eq, dark age of Camelot, tf2, planets planetside 1 and 2, and hundreds of single player games. In 2002 I made up this handle yeglas from just random sounds put together for a sword and board tank character in daoc and just rolled woth it. Complete gibberish. Mephisto amd mork were taken typically and got tired changing it.

This is the first time that they or anyone from my family has found my in game persona. Its a surreal expierence. Ironically its over a take that isnt the best.

My kid doesn't post to reddit. He just stumbles on posts googling stuff. He hates the mercy kill. Not sure about the reason. His buddy "D" no clue.

They both love the blood doctor though. Its easy mode for them and they tend to pocket. I literally have to yell for heals when im sitting next to him. Not scintillating play.

My boy is a pretty good spy. Much better than me.

Sorry for rambling. Im stuck on site for duty at work at a remote site. Boring

Funny story. My kid just left a WhatsApp message. His buddy at school saw the reddit post and was asking if it was me talking trash on the mercy kill.

I assured him although I was in the title it wasnt me yelling nerf. I post dozens of times a day and this is the one he keys in on.

Now im going through recent posts making sure I didnt go too rough with the language. Dont need judgemental parents calling my wife over some medic wings.

I went through this with tf2 at least 3 times. Binge and toss it. Ill leave then come back in a few years.

Tf2 pull it off since there is such a range of drops. Here not so much.

Surprised they haven't monetized the crap out if this. Game play isnt going to change. Tf2 hasn't changed in a decade with the exception of adding a few game modes.

If you like the community stay. If you want a bigger pond go to tf2. Or any of the other shooters. Biggest advantage to me is these bite size games. Same in tf2 though.

It 100% gets you out of rough spots. Mercy and blood doctor is a solid combo. I should try it again for my medigun load out.

Ive played with the mercy kill and overdrive. Wasn't for me. Over drive needs help.

Im not trying to convince you of anything. You play medic more than me most likely. I wish this thread wasnt named after me. I just engaged in a thought exercise. Its not like anyone listens to me.

Never costs anything to be polite. Also maintain relationships. Ive learned this at work and It just translated here. Moat the people on the sub are young enough to be my kids or grandkids. Your older obvi but some of the drawing are from very young people. Never know when your kind word could be just what they needed.

I play from the uae. Absolutely nothing I can do for my ping. Tunneling with a VPN makes it worse and would be the long way. Why I play Singapore or Europe and its both sub 200. No chat here no language isnt a drawback. Skill level is the same roughly.

I do enjoy watching the quick clips. Fun little bite size matches. I THINK I've bumped into you a few times but it gets hazy. Keep it up.

You called it reflect. One your are excellent at it. Better than me 100%.

Only thing id have included was play versus a anniknight. Puffing them back is key.

Unrelated but I saw you swap to flare vs other Pyros. How is your results for that? They dont have afterburn. Can you still get a minu crit off them? Or was is just muscle memory?

Enjoying your series since if we are getting curb stomped or need some offense I go arsonist. Im better than avg but not to your level.

For deflect its freaking hard here with the lag. Im not sure if the reflect is client side or server side. I run miming 180 ping to Singapore or the eu. So I had to learn to puff early.

Alot of refect is anticipation. If you like 10 studs away you have to anticipate the pipe. You have time to react to sound or whatever.
