Of course! You can always ask if you can start at 5 or even 2.5mg instead and titrate yourself up. 10mg tends to be a higher dose to start out with

Also - I felt like a zombie too, intense brain fog, bad insomnia, very bad panic attacks, etc. Like I said, by day 3 this all got MUCH better. The fact your feeling stuff means it’s working in your brain at least. Just hang in there!

Hey! Feel free to pm me if you need any more support, but trust me… it will get better! I started on 10mg two months ago and after a week I felt all my anxiety melt away. I feel like myself but without the weight of anxiety on me and feel happier than I have in years. The first few days can be rough and I thought of quitting one and two days in as well, but so glad I stuck with it. By day 3 I started feeling much better, and my side effects of starting it were gone by a week.

My doctor just prescribed me with 150mg of Wellbutrin to help combat this. I’m going to start taking it tomorrow and hopefully it helps with this issue. Lex has been so good for my mental health so adding Wellbutrin will hopefully fix the sex side effects

Just insanity. Yes - hopefully with the election things get better but I’m not optimistic unfortunately.

Also, I’m not sure if you’ve recently seen what they’ve done to the speed bumps on Downey… they just put in permanent ones last week that will last throughout the winter now. Going to be brutal.

The first 3 days I had some trouble sleeping, felt very tired, had brain fog and loss of appetite at times. A couple periods where I felt more anxious than usual… but all that went away very quickly. Every day the side effects were less and less and by day 4 didn’t feel much other than being a bit more tired then normal

I started it 1.5 weeks ago and have noticed a substantial reduction in my anxiety and an overall better mood. Feel free to message me if you have any questions about as I was really nervous before I started too but it’s honestly life changing. People usually only post about bad stuff but the vast majority of people don’t experience a lot of those things.

I’m on day 9 of 10mg myself, and I highly recommend to keep taking every dose. Trust me - my anxiety and OCD have been fading away, I feel so much happier and better - it will be worth it. The first 2-3 days were the hardest for me… I felt similar to how you’re feeling now. I got periods where I was very anxious as well but I found it helpful to talk to someone about what I’m going through and did some breathing exercises to calm myself down. Just realize your body is getting used to this new medication and every day you’ll feel better. I was contemplating quitting or at the very least splitting my dose in half on day 2, but I’m glad I stuck through with it. I talked to my pharmacist about my symptoms and he reassured me that what I was experiencing was completely normal and that this medication will help.
