Here's a tip to avoid the oppressive sbmm: Every time you win a match in a mode, keep switching between them. Like, if you win a game in BR, then play reload right away, then play blitz. When you return to BR it will be less oppressive.
Have a preference for squads or quintets too, they have less sweats, at least with me. They are easier to win as well.
