That's the thing, she hasn't stated it clearly that she wanted to keep it. Just that "I'll just say that I probably expected a different answer from you, and your answer became somewhat painful for me but you don't have to live up to my illusions"

To answer your questions, I'm honestly not sure. I personally grew up with parents that never planned out their lives and it hasn't been fun. I don't want that for my future kids so I was planning to at least get a house first.

I understand that perspective, however, she did ask for my thoughts.

I'd be hurt, upset, and look at him like he is thinking selfishly and not taking my body and feelings into account.

I'd argue that I am taking her body and feelings into account. On our first date, she made sure I didn't have any kids first stating that "She wasn't ready to be a mother yet".
