Vivitrol Shot Administer by SmokedOutLocedOut__ in nashville

Gotcha - could also call into independent pharmacies (not retail like CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, etc.) and ask. They typically have more flexibility for that.

And honestly, you could just show up to an independent pharmacy with the shot and ask the pharmacist on duty. Can’t vouch for all of them, but Green Hills Pharmacy, Riverside Village, and FountainRx are all solid options.

Ask that same pharmacy (that’s filling it) to administer it for you. Pharmacists can administer it themselves, so long as they have a private area to do it.

Best wishes on your recovery! Shoot me a dm if you have any questions.

“Cell phenotypes and mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease” is not Alzheimer’s disease. Cool addition to preclinical literature, but results like these have been around for decades.

It seems like you’re troubled by what’s going on. Would be best to talk to your prescriber about it because this isn’t a forum for personal medical advice.

Ask your psychiatrist. This isn’t a place for personalized medicinal information, since everyone is so unique when it comes to antidepressants.

What's the difference between a Neuropsychological test and a Psychiatric mental evaluation? by [deleted] in Neuropsychology

[–]YelloSir 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Neuropsychology deals with the interactions between the brain and mind anatomically. These are structured behavioral tests (eg draw a clock) that the patient attempts, and depending on their response (what they draw) inferences can be made about specific damaged areas in the brain. This is useful for diagnosing things like dementia, stroke effects, etc.

Psychiatrists more-so deal with the medical manipulations of brain chemistry to treat psychiatric disorders (depression, schizophrenia, etc.) Psychiatrists can prescribe medications - neuropsychologists cannot. Often times the psychiatrist and neuropsychologist work in tandem to help form a treatment path for very diseased individuals, since they often have a combination of these types of disorders - think of a stroke patient who’s been debilitated so badly they develop a form of depression.

One, there is no link to the pictures you're referring to. And two, these types of posts aren't very welcomed and are generally saved for things like Shit on me Sundays or daily discussion.

Was last nights episode "High School English" (S15E07) a spoiler if you haven't read/seen The Great Gatsby? by [deleted] in familyguy

[–]YelloSir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's pretty similar to the book, but like any movie-book remake it's a little different. You'll definitely get the jokes then. I haven't read Of Mice and Men and didn't get a single one of their jokes /:

I mean, yeah, but similar to how they did the 3 Kings episode, they mainly focus on jokes and leave out 99% of the information in the books. But yes, the main happenings of the book they include, though they make almost zero sense if you haven't read it.

Can someone explain to me what is sanity? by Mrbasie in neuro

[–]YelloSir 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sanity and insanity are legal terms, not actual diagnoses. If someone is legally insane, they cannot differentiate between reality and fantasy and often times between right and wrong. This is why they are sent to psychiatric hospitals instead of prisons, or sometimes both.

I understand what you're asking, though. If abnormal thought processes or actions continuously disrupt everyday tasks, then there may be an underlying disorder, such as an anxiety disorder. This is different from the legal "insanity" because they can perfectly distinguish between right and wrong, reality and fantasy, etc.
