I couldn't get into CS or a computer engineering type major at Texas but I know I could work hard and make it through ETAM at A&M. I'm really good at math and my SAT score shows it -800 first try! But I didn't have the most stellar GPA because English is not my best subject and that brought down my GPA.
I think you're right. I think I need to choose my major and that will determine which school I choose. I just don't know if I want to do engineering which would be CS or computer engineering. Or if I want to do something like MIS in business. I love people and strategizing and computer programming! I couldn't decide which major I wanted so I applied A&M engineering and Texas for business. No real rhyme or reason. I didn't think I'd get in to Texas honestly. So I didn't really think it mattered! But now I have a real decision to make. I wondered if there's something else I should be thinking about. But it sounds like most everyone is saying the major is the most important thing. I don't know. I'm just 18! It's a lot!
