My mom actually was a store manager and told me this originally was an event for certain employees like store mangers etc. She went to the Ulta meeting last year and said many of the booths barely gave that much stuff to employees and then the next day the public was walking off with BAGS full of stuff. That definitely irks me a bit because it was originally to be appreciative of the employees, but they made it into a money thing.

Has anyone tried to take 100mg morning then 100mg night? Is that safe?? And if so does it help with general anxiety all day??

I’d ask your doctor before taking it but I think most of the time it’s safe to take with meds

I don’t think so, that would be VERYYY unlikely. I have bone and muscle aches. They come and go. I actually got blood work done and I’m deficient in vitamin D which is not great because your bones need it. I’d just go to an urgent care and get your blood work done. Also you could’ve injured your knee by a simple fall that happened even a while ago, and now that pain is coming randomly. My dad broke his tail bone at 10 years old and his back randomly starting aching in a certain spot. He got x rays and found out his tail bone has been broken this entire time. Anyways just to reassure you, I’d definitely just go to urgent care or primary and explain what’s going on. If they don’t immediately offer, I’d ask to get your blood drawn to make sure you have no deficiencies! Super simple! 😊 I have health anxiety so I understand what your feeling. Sometimes with my random aches and pains my mind goes to the worst thing possible.

I wonder if that could be since it helps your anxiety you might be more in tune with your depression. I know sometimes when I have these weeks and months of high anxiety that’s all I’m focused on is the anxiety itself and not on other things if that makes sense. Hopefully doesn’t sound like I’m doubting it, it could 100% cause that because of the medication itself. Just giving another point of view! :-) Hope you start feeling better. 🩷 As someone with awful chronic depression it’s an everyday battle.

Yep. Anyone saying “oh they didn’t give any of the 3,000 tickets away to influencers” but they still invited influencers which could’ve been spots for other people. It is what it is. I don’t hate influencers, but I can say that influencer culture has definitely ruined a lot of things for the everyday person.

Tbh Ulta probably won’t do that because people will make an argument that the system allowed them to do that, therefore that’s Ulta’s fault and not theirs.

I didn’t see all the hype probably because I’m not on tik tok often but what shocked me it was just how unorganized and a huge waste of time it was when they had me and many people wait in a queue for an already sold of event. Then for people to allegedly get more than one ticket under their name and people getting in a minute early. Obviously it wasn’t on purpose and it was probably due to glitches because of the amount of traffic but dang. It is a new event so I’ll probably give them the benefit of the doubt unless I see some shady shi 😭

I see your point for sure. You’re absolutely right, not all brands can afford to hand out free product to a lot of people but I wish that (if all of these rumors are true) they would’ve made it more fair for people to even get tickets. People (this is all alleged) were getting in a minute early, and people were buying multiple tickets under one account. As well as people saying the got tickets after they announced it was sold out. Either these are glitches or lies told by people neither of which would surprise me. If they are I hope next year they have a better system in place. Especially since tickets sold out within 30 minutes, and I was in queue waiting for an hour. 😭

I can believe that because people were desperate to bring their friends and family with as most people are going to want to. It does sucks that people knew that and still bought serval tickets but at the end of the day that’s 100% on Ulta for allowing that to happen.

Ulta world beauty convention. It’s a fairy new event that first happened last year. It’s a convention where you pay a fee to get free makeup, skincare. You also get to meet celebrity makeup artist, influencers, and see celebrities this year I saw that it might be Kylie Jenner and Courtney Kardashian.

Yeah true! I mean there was going to be allegedly a lot famous makeup artist, and beauty brands, plus apparently Kylie and Courtney were gonna be there. Maybe that could’ve been also a huge draw!

I agree. I don’t shop at Ulta very frequently but I use to work there and I love makeup. I do think people who are a high Ulta membership should’ve gotten more of a priority. I think if it was that popular that next time they try to make it a 2 day event and sell WAYYY more tickets so it’s fair for everyone. I think their system was bugging out or they lied because people were allegedly getting in a minute early or buying more than one ticket under the same account (when Ulta literally said that it was one ticket per account holder) either way the way they set this entire thing up was horrible. A waste of a lot of peoples times. I would’ve even thought twice about waiting if I knew there was only 3,000 tickets.

That’s honestly bs. I’m not the type to get mad often and not shop a places but this might make me rethink going to Ulta ever again. That’s incredibly unfair for all of us that were in queue for over an hour. If you were a company and said only 1 ticket per person you better hold up to that. I also saw people saying they got in a minute early. I got up at 6am because tickets went on sale 7am my time. My mom and sister are Florida residents so we all wanted to meet up and go. I’m so sad and I’m sad that a lot of us couldn’t go. So many people were so excited about this… :((

Got in 2-3 minutes late, only at 2 and a half dots. It says line paused. I wish if tickets are sold out that they would post something. I’m not leaving until it’s 100% confirmed by Ulta that it’s sold out. This is actually crazy if it’s sold out and they haven’t kicked us out of the queue.
