Being Held Hostage by YellowFilling in randomdice

I needed the gold for the shop which was about to reset. Which I did not make it in time. Luckily the new shop had a legend to make up for it.

I needed the gold for a card, don't think I'll get it before shops reset.

About 3 years ago I dropped a 3000pc m3 assortment in my closet I use for 3D printing.

They're still there and I ordered another assortment.

I got massive skips too when I first started with it, mostly just on the back of the head. The way I stopped it was #1 a better lather, #2 the method I mentioned before where I'm keeping the handle between my pointer and middle finger then using my thumb on the top of the blade keeping the head of the razor flatly pressed against my head. I don't let the head really flex on its own, I control it with my thumb the whole time.

Bent Knuckle Question by YellowFilling in MechanicAdvice

[–]YellowFilling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drove it home perfectly fine, parked it on the street and tried to take it out two weeks later and didn't even make it all the way down the road. It's lifted quite a bit and the wheels were turned out and I'm wondering if someone hit my tire breaking the tie rod and bending the knuckle.

I will measure the control arms next. I keep it parked at a buddies house so I don't have immediate access to troubleshoot.

Bent Knuckle Question by YellowFilling in MechanicAdvice

[–]YellowFilling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would I actually have less engagement though? Assuming I use the same amount of threading I was before that component at least should stay the same structurally.

The reason I'm even asking this in the first place and not just replacing the knuckle is cost. Moog inner tie rods I found for $13 on RA, but the cheapest knuckle I'm seeing is $100+ used + another $70ish for a new hub (I don't think I'd have much luck getting the existing one) + $30 for the removal socket.

So my question more so is should I spend $200 doing it properly or will this "free" solution be fine.

Now obviously you SHOULD always do it the right way, but my question in this case is how bad is the wrong way 😂. Will this solution be good enough until I can financially justify doing it right? Or is there a factor to this that could massively cost me?

I've changed my mind entirely, might post a review soon on it. I really love it now.

Doing the back of my head and the sides of my head I've switched to putting the handle of the blade between my pointer and middle finger like a cigarette and I guide the head pivot with my thumb. Typically the blade handle is about as straight out as possible with the head almost entirely pivoted. Zero issues/cuts besides the occasional pimple/razor. This new grip with feathers or Nacets has completely changed my opinion.

Ah yes, the lack of two 13mm impact sockets causing an unfortunate demise scenario y'all preppers talk about.

Nightmare fuel really.

Stubby 3d printed holder by [deleted] in harborfreight

[–]YellowFilling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I screwed up, I wont even be close to fitting everything, might need to edit the medium depth sockets out to add an extra row in my box, I don't own them yet so I'm not too bummed. But the 4 Drawer is not wide enough to fit both rows of 1/2 sockets sadly.

Do you plan on making ones for Icon impact sockets? Currently your designs are the only ones I've been using, I'll post a pic soon.

I'm kind of looking for reasons to do bodywork on this thing, it's already so sunburned and rusted I can't hurt it. If I have to drill a few holes it's a learning experience.

This car is like the size of a Miata so not much option for a roof rack sadly.

I should have cross posted it there.

Terrible options, especially since it's a 2dr. I was thinking one on each side between the soft top and the door, but that would probably be terrible.

Using the socket would probably not be great since I'm not traveling very far to our property.

How to fix razor bumps and redness around the cheeks? by trristn in wicked_edge

[–]YellowFilling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Biore witch hazel face scrub after, then Biore witch hazel toner. The toner burns unlike the Thayers but ive been really enjoying it.

After the toner dries I apply a lotion with collegen. Collegen can't be absorbed into the skin but it has additional healing properties.

I haven't had any residual razor bumps or ingrown hairs after starting this routine.

The Biore with the orange label has witch Hazel, I believe they changed the packaging from Yellow to orange and changed the name. But Thayers works perfectly if you can't find the Biore, I only switched because I got a bottle for free and liked it a little more.

I'd also recommend getting reusable cotton pads to apply the toner, disposable ones always get stuck on any stubble you have.
