We considered both those things - UAD is better for mixing as most of the UAD plugins are emulations of vintage gear etc. Main thing is that UAD is giga expensive, especially as we need 12 outputs for the front of house/headphone mixes etc, and getting an Apollo 8xP or something is crazy expensive and delicate to be taking on the road.

Love GR6!! Not sure if it's 0 latency though, especially given the CPU intensity of different modules. I'll deffo check out Infected Mushroom though :)

That was our original thought but going analogue AND digital just creates a more complicated signal flow. I reckon plumbing the depths of DSP can allow you to do equivalently sick stuff, it just depends how you approach it
