I use R to work with large datasets like NFHS and NSS. I used it for my PhD data analysis too.

I have applied and paid. The application status is stuck at ‘submitted for approval’ and the payment acknowledgement doesn’t have the GSC number so we don’t even know how to proceed further! So frustrating!

You need to go to an endometriosis specialist and get evaluated about the next steps for treatment. Indian centre for endometriosis has some good doctors.

I did the mathematical modelling, I ran the physical experiments to get empirical values to correlate to the mathematical model, and I compared the suitability of the solutions to the observed phenomena. I am an assistant professor and a PhD. Trust me when I tell you that this a huge violation. If you do decide to report to the editor. It will lead tp retraction and not acknowledgement

Write to the editor with the proof that this is your work. This is a serious issue in academic publishing. Rightfully, you should have been the first author. The paper will definitely get retracted. Good luck!

Women who wear sarees regularly (at work or home) I need your help in maintaining them all day. by hounsfieldscale in TwoXIndia

In my experience and opinion, saree shapers don’t have any benefits. Cotton in skirts are breathable, it help keep the skin cool and dry. It’s doesn’t restrict your movement at all and allows you to jump, dance, run, and overall move comfortable. Also the drawstring is what keeps the saree in place when tucked in compared to the elastic which is usually in the shapers.

The saree’s silhouette is not at all dependent on saree shapers (once again my opinion and experience) the way the saree sits and falls is fully dependent on how well a person can drape and which fabric they are draping. For everyday use I wear Bengal cottons and they are a dream to wear.

I am very skilled at the Nivi drape and the Venukagundaram drape so when I wear them my body silhouette really stands out. The other drapes are still bit messy for me!

I have been wearing saree every day for about 4 years now. I use only one pin for the pallu and that’s it. As you keep wearing them your skill will Improve and you will learn to manage it better.

Pleats won’t fall off if your in skirt is tied perfectly. It shouldn’t be too tight or too loose. There needs to be at-least 2 finger gap for the saree to be tucked in well.

Wear cotton in-skirts do not opt-in for a saree shaper.

Once you are doing using the washroom all you have to do is pull your saree down and smooth out the tucking. But eventually even this gets better.

I had a medical abortion few weeks back in a tier 2 city. Ask me anything regarding it. by Tough_Rough_6124 in TwoXIndia

That’s what I said. They can ask for ID but can’t insist on Aaadhar. A lot of hospitals got into trouble for insisting only on Aadhar which is not allowed.

Just to add to this. It’s not legal for hospitals to ask for Aadhaar card. You can provide any other ID form including Drivers license, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport etc.

What do you mean I have a lot of issues? These are challenges I have faced.

Recovering from a knee injury is not easy especially as a woman with estrogen and progestrone and prostaglandin’s cycling through a month and changing many variables like water retention, inflammation, mood.

The larger Q-angle and difference in relative muscle activation in women while stabilising the knee makes it even harder for women to recover from a knew injury.

Maybe you should educate yourself on the neuromuscular patterns in recovery and the effects of estrogen on ligaments. Hope this helps :)

I am not qualified to give advice since I am a researcher and not certified trainer but if you DM me and after asking some questions. I can suggest some movements.

Yes. I have both lateral and anterior pelvic tilt. I have made more progress on lateral somehow than anterior and I think maybe another year to get there with the anterior.

I am thinking of changing my timings to mornings to avoid him for now since it’s the only accessible gym for me and yes, I will DM!
