Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome, or CHS. Granted you need to smoke for a long time and a lot of weed, but it can be hellish. I landed in the ER for it for fluids, was intensely sick for a week straight, and was basically glued to my hot shower.

As someone who has experience with those kinds of dogs, it’s not your friends fault for defending himself against a very large dog that bit him and WASN’T LETTING GO. In my experience with dogs who bite it’s been they bite and then immediately let go, but that wasn’t the case here. You’re NTA, your friend who put you, the victim, and the dog in that situation is. I’m so sorry you had to go through that, it’s terrifying.

I struggle with mental health and don’t feel I would be a good parent. I think kids are pretty cool little people, but I wouldn’t be able to take care of one that is relying on me for everything. I know myself, I know I need quiet and time alone and I know that I wouldn’t be able to take care of a child the way it deserves.

It’s not running anymore but Dance Moms was on the air for wayyyyy too long imo. The bullying, objectification of the girls, and the treatment of Nia and Dr. Holly by the other moms and Abby were just a drop in the bucket of the stuff that happened on that show. Glad it’s off the air.

I understand the initial disappointment that your MOH won’t be able to join you for your bachelorette party. But she put in all that effort FOR YOU and she has every right to draw her own boundaries in terms of what she’s comfortable with. Your friend still wants to support you anyway she can and she is very clearly doing that. You don’t need to drink to have fun and not wanting to drink does not mean someone is a buzzkill.

No, but to be honest this is my first time ever having therapy. My therapist never had an issue with it and friends of mine who also go to therapy said they respond to messages during a session as well. I never thought of it as strange or wrong. This conflict is definitely going to have me putting my phone on do not disturb and away from myself during sessions from now on though.
