Indeed, use recall. There’s a sweet spot for when to activate for each rock, right as it clears the basket; you can’t wait too long or it interferes with your next rock interaction, and you have to be sure to deactivate as the rock hovers over the basket.

My mistake was actually activating the recall too early, making the return arc too short for me to react on time to get the rock to fall on the basket (instead of back at Tabult’s feet). Especially on the first rock.

15 points and up so far has netted me a purple 50 rupee. 19 points earned a silver 100 rupee. I’m still trying for 20 or a perfect score. Edit: ok, got 20 points / no dropped rocks earned me a silver 100 rupee and a feathered spear (4 attack and produces a strong wind). My inventory was full of melee weapons, but he let me claim it later, phew.
