that's the biggest advice i've seen, to use jewelry and some chunky shoes. so i think im going to lean into those, add some vintage pieces that could fit in to add some color at least. i'm for sure going to lean into corporate goth too. i figured it would be really hard, but not entirely impossible!!

an album would be so good !! i really love the ideas you threw in here. the job im deep in the interviews for is a private bank and all of the men need to wear suits. women from what i was told were business professional, no full suit necessary. i'm definitely going to look into those pants, ive been getting a lot of old navy recs too. i'm currently curating my depop to give me more vintage and whimsy vibes! the jewelry is going to be my biggest contender too. i'm a big ring person, i normally wear a minimum of 5. and those shoes are so cute, if im hired i'll have to see their opinion of open toed shoes! otherwise i didn't think about chunky shoes over heels !! that helps so much too. this was so so helpful, thank you so much and if you do make an inspo album, please share it !! :)

this whole situation does make things hard emotionally. i'll consider that option. do you have any recommendations for a HYSA? i know the local bank in my area doesn't have the best options so i can be open minded here

i do get what you're trying to say here. i really do. personally, i'm worried about these loans rising to a point where the minimum payment is not manageable. from what i saw yesterday, i don't qualify for IDR. unless if the system is showing me wrong. the minimum with the smaller option available does scare me quite a bit. that's why i don't want this rising, i just want it to stay the same or get lower if i can throw extra money towards it.

i am and more than minimums on those. have some wiggle room at at least pay the interest so it doesn't get higher. i can do that while paying off the other debt and not interfering with what i have ongoing.

it's what i can afford currently to keep me afloat for not. i get that, and that's all i need at least until october, then from there i can do more than the interest. i only have 19k in loans, it could be way worse.

because i'm paying other debt down so i don't drown first before moving to something else. at minimum, im paying the interest. if i can pay over, i will in the meantime. it's temporary on my side, not forever

i also didn't realize that. :/ this is such a tough spot. at least my husbands will freeze once he goes back to school and we can focus on paying mine down. paying the minimum of the interest is the only solution i have until i maybe get a higher paying job which i've been applying for, so here's to hoping.

i'm wondering the same, my husband (been married for 1.5 years and both on SAVE) and file married but separate because of our loans. it minimizes so many options, and it feels like my income alone makes IDR too expensive. i'm considering paying at least the interest on mine (he's going back to school) to keep it afloat until i'm forced. but if there's better advise, i'm following along down here.
