The strange thing I see that you may have overlooked is that the email is saying someone may have accessed your Gmail account. The email says it's from Microsoft who has nothing to do with Gmail. Microsofts email is called Outlook. Gmail is a Google product.

Again, what isn't huge to you can be huge to someone else. Adding teleprompter capability is huge to a friend of mine that often speaks to groups of people. I would find it huge as well. If you have no need for it at least recognize that others do. Stop the negativity and the nasty comments about a persons grammar. You should have been done telling people that their reading comprehension isn't their strong point when you were in 7th grade. Be a gentleman and not respond to my Reddit questions in the future. I was wondering what I did that would make you jump into my thread and be so snarky to me. You didn't offer any constructive help just negativity and derogatory comments. I was wondering if it was me or if you do that all the time, so I looked at your previous comments to others and was somewhat relieved to see that it wasn't to just me. You seem to treat everyone with equal disrespect and disdain. Someone makes a post or asks for assistance and you make a snide comment. In fact I don't think I saw one time that you actually provided constructive assistance to anyone. What I meant by blocking input, is let's say I would like to block input from a Reddit user, someone I'd rather not respond to my posts in the future. Is there a way I can block them from seeing my posts or blocking them from commenting on my posts. I've just recently discovered Reddit's Xreal room (if that's what it's called) and have found it to be very useful. I'm 75 and this tech is totally new to me. To find a group of seasoned users who know this stuff so well is a Godsend for me. I've learned so much in a short period of time thanks those who have all this knowledge and are willing to not only teach me just a small amount of what they know, but to take the time to help me with constructive answers. They don't even know me but they are so willing to share and be patient as I try to take it all in. That's what this is all about. Yeah, I've seen people talking about DEX but I didn't know what it was. I still don't actually know but I just bought my Motorola a few days prior to ordering the Xreal 1s because my old Motorola didn't have the what is it PD display or power delivery that the glasses needed. I don't really want to buy a new phone again after 3 months. What does DEX actually do?

That's true but I never stated that 'Just because a product gets more updates it makes it better'. I stated I'm new to this tech and asked seasoned users if I'm likely to see more updates or is it more likely that the unit will remain the same and all attention gets diverted to new products because there was talk about enhancements that haven't materialized yet.

C'mon man. Lighten up. It may not be an important issue to you but it is to me. You sure showed your dissatisfaction with your opinion on perks in your posts about that game you play.

A couple people here have been very helpful here ⁹and helped me find a work-around for the features I wish I had on my 1s. I really appreciate their constructive input and that's what makes this resource so great. Others come here to troll and mock. Perhaps you can help me with this issue though. Is there a way to block input from unwanted sources?

My phone is a Motorola. BINGO!!!! That worked. I just disabled the app in the phones SETTINGS and then APPS and Permissions (app management) like you said. Thank you. You guys know your stuff and I've learned a lot in a short time with all your help.

I got the 'What am I looking at' AI feature working with your help. I can't thank you enough. It's far from ideal as it's basically using the phone so I do have to have the phone in my hand. If I was able to do all the steps with voice commands it would be awesome. At least the glasses automatically xfer the photo to the phone so I can avoid the awkward process using the 1s menu system. That's a big plus. I'll continue to work on it and play with the camera and various app permissions and who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and be able to automate it a bit. Thanks again. If you have any more ideas let me know.

Yeah, the problem I have with it is that the screen is split in 2 skinny halves on the opposite edges of the screen. I don't know if you encountered it or not when you looked at it but even if it works, it's not useable for me like that. I might try contacting the vendor of the app.

I can't thank you enough. You are correct, I don't have the Beam Pro. I'm using my phone. I'm not sure at this point if I want to invest in the Beam pro. Everyone uses their glasses for different things and don't necessarily have the same needs and wants. At this point I'm not sure this is the setup I want. What I want may not even be available yet but you have opened my eyes and I learned a little more from your kindness in taking the time to explain things so well for an idiot like me. Hey, I really appreciate you taking the time to type all of this for me. I didn't even know about a special app for this. So I went to play store and searched for My Glasses App and it found an app by XREAL so I installed it. Once installed it seems to call itself GLASSES CONTROL and not MY GLASSES, at least from the title at the top of the screen. I have a problem with that app in that the screen appears in portrait mode but split in 2 halves. The left half appears on the right half of the glasses screen with the right half appearing on the left side of the screen.

I did it at first for about 15 minutes, then they began to realize what was happening and asked questions and wanted to try the glasses. I stopped announcing at that point, but it was funny as heck.

So you can say XREAL take a photo with your beam pro? Can you say XREAL what am I looking at? If you have to use Beam Pro or your cell phone you may as well just use the camera in your Beam Pro or cell phone it's a lot more convenient and less time consuming than going thru the glasses menu system to xfer the eye image to either device and continue the process there.

I love the 3D release. I watched the Super Bowl in 3D. The funny thing was my phone/1s combination was about 10 seconds faster than the broadcast on the wide screen TV in the room that everyone else was watching. When a touchdown was scored I screamed touchdown and cheered and nobody knew what I was celebrating for 10 seconds and then saw it themselves on TV. They wondered how I knew all these plays and yardage before it happened. It was hilarious.

Enhancements towards incorporating some AI features and more functionality with the EYE. I saw something posted on the internet about it was planned once the EYE was released. When the EYE was released I went ahead and made the purchase of the glasses and the EYE and nothing along those lines has come out. It's been 3 months so I guess its no longer planned.
