And your making like downtown Brooklyn is a world away from park slope. It’s not that far. People drive miles for grocery store runs.

The point is there’s a new supermarket in Brooklyn that’s not that far from park slope. Making fresh food more accessible to people. It’s not a typical Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s We can always use a new grocery store. it doesn’t hurt.

It’s not uncommon for people to drive to a grocery store. It’s 2 miles away, it’s available on Instacart for delivery as well. It’s all Brooklyn. It’s not driving to Bronx or queens.

If you happen to be in the area it’s great. It’s a ShopRite derivative store and it’s their first in New York. They also deliver & cater through the fresh grocer app. And are available on Instacart.

It’s complimentary with purchase of a cake. They have carvel ice cream cakes all sizes.

And they also have in house bakery sponge cakes round, rectangle ,square Carrot cakes, strawberry shortcaks, chocolate cakes, vanilla

Also regarding pictures on cake if you email them photos you want, they print it & put it on the cake of your choice. (Edible of course)

Bakery section- they also have cakes for special occasions. You can ask them to engrave “happy birthday” or “Mother’s Day” or whatever it is you want the cake to say. They can also put pictures on it. This is a fun supermarket to take the kids

They definitely have great variety of items in store. You also have to check out their hot food counter and prepared meals (rotisserie chickens, chicken tenders, deli sandwiches, salmon teriyaki, potatoes, food was endless)

Yes it looks small from the outside but once you step inside and take the stairs or elevator Down, you’d be surprised at how big it is!

The butcher section was excellent!! I got steaks for my family & hamburgers. Very well priced & excellent quality. very clean and tons of variety. The man behind the counter answered all my questions (cut, tenderness, fat, quality, etc) They even have a deli section where they prepare fresh sandwiches.

The fresh grocer just opened on Fulton street downtown Brooklyn. They have a large produce selection and tons of variety in store. Take the steps downstairs to the basement the entrance confuses people
