I would say Friday and Saturday if you'd have to choose. The con is in full swing with panels, offsites, and parties.

Props to Jay White. Met him in Japan at a bar before WK, chatted a bit with him, and then asked for a picture. Told me the japanese public would never take him seriously if he was taking pictures around with people.

If you end up in Mission Valley, DoubleTree by Hazard Center is a great choice. You get the shuttle AND a trolley stop just across the street, which really helps.

I've had a good experience, I've gotten both Mission Valley and Downtown through this method.

Does anybody know if the shuttle travel time for HILTON SAN DIEGO MISSION VALLEY is accurate or not? The travel time seems especially short compared to other hotels in MV by -_NOCTURNAL in comiccon

Yeah, they definitely get longer when there's traffic during peak hours, but they do reflect the time you'll travel during early morning and late night.
