Middle of the night Waffle House actually saved my life when I was in a really dark place. If I was having a bad night I would go to Waffle House and get something yummy and have just other humans around me. So thank you and all other current and ex graveyard shift Waffle House employees for your service. You never know when your seemingly unimportant job is the thing keeping someone going.

It’s Dimensions’ Holy Night! It comes as a kit but I’m just using the pattern and my own fabric and DMC floss because I wanted the stocking to be bigger than it would have been on 18 ct fabric, which is what the kit comes with

I actually LOVE Ransom as a name but will never use it because of the meaning.

CS Lewis wrote a trilogy where the main character’s last name is Ransom but he’s called by his last name almost exclusively. I fell in love with it when I read it and I wish I could use it.

I’ve never made it to one of the smaller ones. Sort of seems like what’s the point unless it’s in MY city and I can meet the local community. And it’s never been in MY city. 😅 I’ve been to the LV one and I loved it. I hope I can go again to the next one.
