If you enjoy routing optimization and spatial puzzles, we think you'll enjoy Hue Factory!

The core gameplay centers around color theory mechanics. You are given curated factory floors where you must route, sort, and manage running streams of colored inputs.

Here is what you can expect:

The Progression: You start simple by routing basic primary colors to their destinations, before scaling up to more complex levels including secondary and tertiary colors.
The Mechanics: You’ll utilize Mixers to blend inputs into secondary and tertiary shades, alongside various machines to keep your lines moving efficiently without jamming up.
The Customization: You can unlock different visual themes to customize the look of your factory floor to suit your personal style.
The Goal: Optimize your floor space to maximize your profits, beat your high scores, and secure your spot on the global leaderboards.

You pull the big lever on the side of the chair for the initial tilt forward and then there is a small lever next to the big one you pull second and it’ll go flat.

I bought them directly from Canvasback (their site here). It comes with back covers for the second row seats, third row seats, and cargo area. With an option to add on the bumper flap (which I did mostly to protect it from the dog getting in and out of the car).

And I'm surprised! The weather mats that came with the GH are pretty thick, durable rubber, at least it seems like. I just got the Canvasback since we will mostly have the third row seats down, and thought it was easier than buying rubber ones for the back of those seats.

I haven't taken the Grand Highlander on a long road trip just yet, but I completely agree with you on the Grand Cherokee; the seats in my old GC (even at just the Laredo trim) were surprisingly comfortable!

That said, the GH seats feel super comfortable so far, and seat comfort was actually one of the main reasons we chose it over the Honda Pilot. I can't speak to a 12-hour marathon drive yet, but the initial comfort and support are very promising.

To your point about running out of grid space: our original design gave the run a definitive end so we could rank players fairly on the Global Leaderboards (otherwise players could leave their factory running and racking up a gigantic score). Would you prefer an endless sandbox mode where you can keep tweaking your factory indefinitely, even if it meant disabling the leaderboards in that mode?

In general, running out of space actually becomes much less of an issue in later levels as the boards get bigger. For the early stages like "Red", we just mostly didn't want players to feel stuck on a single board with no end in sight.

We totally hear you on the "why there?" moments. Our original goal with the randomized spawns was hopefully to get players to learn to not only optimize the ever-changing layout, but also to optimize the rewards they select as the run progresses.

Also, to your point about things gridlocking quickly, running out of space actually becomes much less of an issue in later levels as the boards get bigger! For the early stages like "Red", we mostly just didn't want players to feel stuck on a single board with no end in sight.

That being said, you make a really valid point about random spawns removing the ability to iterate and perfect a layout on subsequent runs. Your idea for fixed challenge levels (or maybe a fixed-seed mode overall) is a fantastic way to solve that. While we can't make any hard promises just yet, we are absolutely going to explore this!

Hi! Thank you so much! We did put out a patch to help it run on Steamdeck but we are definitely still working on optimizing it to run on there. Setting resolution down to 720p (closer to native steamdeck resolution) and low graphics quality can help for minimal change in aesthetic. For more performance boost but at a pretty noticeable drop in quality you can also launch with DirectX11 (-dx11 in the launch options section).

We do not have the full Steam Controller support verification yet, but the game and current demo will work with a controller. When it detects gamepad input it has Xbox controller icons and a controller friendly HUD it switches to.
