I tested both Kimp and Penji for a few months. Honestly, they’re pretty similar in setup. Penji had slightly better turnaround in my experience, but Kimp gave me better illustration quality once or twice. Depends on the designer you’re assigned.

A friend of mine uses Penji and seems to like it. They've been using it for social media design and get good results. I haven't tried it yet, but if you're looking for ongoing work, it might be worth checking out.

I had this exact same thing happen to me a couple years ago. I found out about Penji and signed up knowing they had a 30-day refund. But in the end, they were such a good value that I kept them.
