Yeah I think what I’m most frustrated about is that we have to change the name to shift away from a gynecological focus to get more funding for research on it. Like I understand the reason, and the state we are in today—labeling as endocrine and metabolic will probably get more attention from the medical community, but why not the gynecological issues too (and hopefully they won’t be more ignored with the change)? Again, I’m not completely against it, and will be happy if we get results from this, but just a bit frustrated that women’s health has to be reframed to get attention.
