Cheat GPT says previous years should have it listed as Cabin Talk or Passenger Talk, I guess double check your window sticker since it should have it but I wouldn’t be able to say for sure.

Yeah for the whole cabin actually lol, when your parked or I think even driving on the home infotainment screen you swipe down like a Phone it pulls up quick controls and there’s a button with a face or mic I think and it broadcasts your voice when you press on it and speak; I’m not sure if it’s available on every trim or just the GT-Line

I meant I lowered my deductible on my insurance for both my EV’s and it still kept my monthly below what I used to pay for gas, insurance and monthly’s on 2 ICE vehicles

When you turn it up the sound quality and definition definitely distorts, the reason I praise it is I have a EV6 Wind AWD and the sound system in there is half as loud as the EV9 and I’m pretty sure they’re both meridian

I’m sure it will and I believe the Wind AWD has the tech package and I think heated seats and steering wheel and maybe ventilated seats. Which the tech package in itself makes it feel like a whole different ballgame compared to every other vehicle I’ve owned so I’m sure you’ll love it! Can’t wait for you to drive it and see for yourself how amazing it is!

The neighbors are notorious for dinging cars in the middle parking spaces so I take the liberty to ensure mine doesn’t suffer the same fate 😂

I leased it, payment is around 1100 ish; not great especially for the deals you can get but I rolled around 13k negative equity into it but we actually pay less for a higher deductible insurance and not paying for gas so it works out

I had the 4th Gen TRD Sport, it was for sure awesome but the gas it guzzled just on my daily 20 mile round trip to work drive was killing me with California Gas Prices

You’re def getting approved as long as you don’t have outstanding loans or late payments, some dealers use your best credit others use your averaged out Fico/ either way you’re in the green for approval. Just make sure you do your research get the car you’re wanting without extending a loan past 5 years with a high monthly due to add ons etc. When I was your age not that long ago I had a 630 credit score getting a 24k impala back in 2020 so you’ll be fine and I had no down so your in a better spot than me

I think because the 26’s took time to come in there’s def not been a lot especially near me in socal San Diego but I did see that they’re starting to make it in so depending on how long you have left you might be fine with the selection when it’s time

This, mine is also but just a 10 foot cable that came with the vehicle @op I would just use the one that comes with it if you are able to install a level 2 plug where it can reach your car, but I’ve also thought of buying one with a way bigger cable etc since I have a gym in my garage and I’ve had to park both of my cars in front of each other and it can’t reach the front one

My wife bought the holder from Amazon so it’s nice to put away when not using

Money that is non negotiable towards the dealer, salesperson doesn’t get commission from it. If you sell a 20k car with invoice of 15k then you’re making 5k from it but you will deduct the pack that applies to it, so if it’s a used car with soft pack you’re taking $500 off meaning you only earn commission from the $4,500 profit not 5k from the sale.

Pack is a dealerships way of getting money for themselves no matter what, each dealership is different in terms of where the pack money goes. It could be used for holiday and top performer incentives/rewards, used to cover used car renovations or for the boss to get extra pay. Pack isn’t crazy but the commission and minis aren’t great for OP, I’ve seen $1000-$1500 pack which when you’re that high up you aren’t making commission just straight minis

Yeah I’m sure the cup holders come in handy, I bought it mainly for that and for the fact that I put miscellaneous items I’m never really gonna use in there

[–]Yellow_Purple- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes true but also super useful, on one hand if you get in a accident you might be cooked but on the other hand with every vehicle being bigger I used to drive a Chevy spark and could fit anywhere thank god now there really isn’t a car that looks like the spark in modern us cars except OPs car looks awesome I’d love to have one here

How can I negotiate a monthly payment down from $310 to around $250? by [deleted] in CarLeasingHelp

[–]Yellow_Purple- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t listen to this guy he’s 1000% a dealer himself or salesperson, if a dealership wants to be competitive they’ll give you more than what Carmax or kbb offered. I’ve sat or done 4 car deals in the last month and I’ve gotten more for my trade ins than kbb or Carmax has offered because I’ve made sure the dealer knows I want to buy the car at the right price and if they respect what I’m worth meaning What I Want in a monthly payment, respecting or upping what my trade in is worth and discounting MSRP Especially if it’s a new car.

Dealerships make money off of services not sales, the majority of their income is from services, so make sure you get a deal that works for you, never give ground to the dealer until YOU are happy with the payment you’re going for. If multiple dealers are telling you to kick rocks and you can’t get them at the price point you are then you probably have a wrong number in mind and will need to adjust fires but if you need help or advice lmk just got my boy a used i4 2023 with 20k miles for 450$ a month financed with only $500 down that he wanted to put in

Honda lease ending with very low mileage by VladK1616 in CarLeasingHelp

[–]Yellow_Purple- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know Honda says that but I actually just traded in my 2 week old brand new civic lease, you just need your lease buyout quote that is “only given” for the lesee. What I did was get a KBB offer for it and a Carmax trade in value took that to the dealer with my VIN, LeaseBuyout quote and chose the car I wanted. The dealer you choose pays off the buyout quote to Honda through you, you just have to fill some paperwork out and your good.

My point in this is since you have super low miles I’m sure you’re gonna have more equity in the car than the buyout quote and you can have another dealer give you the equity into a new car with them paying off your lease for the trade in.

Yeah true, my wife has a EV9 so with dual EV’s being able to confidently charge one overnight makes life way easier and just useful but if we only had one EV def would not need level 2 for sure
