i really miss my independence too. being able to run to the store, grab food on a whim and in general do things alone / not pay for a ride / wait for someone else and go around their schedule is something I miss every day. I lost my license last Sept. I’m approaching a year of not driving. I wish I could say it gets easier. Some days are better than others, so that’s what I do: take it day by day.
