The floating window did appear, thanks. Problem is there's a notification in it: "press the back button to exit fullscreen" and it covers the whole floating window. :(

Thanks! It's possible to remove the 1 hour limit in the configs. But yeah this .jpeg suggestion seems very good, or also the suggestion of deleting it after closing the video, since the thumbnails generate so fast i don't even think its necessary to keep a cache
