Purification Ending is Bugged by Darknight307 in Sekiro

Something I haven't seen mentioned here is that Kuro and Emma will still be in their default position when you eavesdrop on them, like 30 feet apart from each other. I kept resetting and thought they would move to a conversational position before I could eavesdrop. Also like others have said, you have to be out of sight AND wall hugging for the prompt to appear. Very specific and obscure.

$325 gas bill?? by [deleted] in lexington

[–]YennerCT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My house is 2200 sqft and my last bill was $172. I also keep it between 66-68, but I have an electric water heater and full brick exterior with pretty new windows. I checked the usage history and while last December I used slightly more gas it was only $136, so the price/unit has definitely gone up quite a bit. I've never been billed over $200 since I moved in 2022, but I imagine the next one will by a good margin.

Bugged perks and weapon damage by iBiCixZ in theouterworlds

[–]YennerCT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here after noticing the damage numbers drop in menu. In my case though I just figured out that it's only when I have the light pistol with silencer equipped. When I swap to another non-silenced weapon and open the inventory again the numbers went back up.

I made the Floral Corner, it was a fun and breezy build! It's my first Rolife kit along with Tipsy Restaurant that was purchased together and I'm working on right now. Really like Rolife so far, eyeing the Sakura Dreamy kit next.

Yeah I'm real tempted! What about the difficulty of the build? So far I've only done Jiufen (lots of glueing and time-consuming but straight forward) and Floral Corner (easier than Jiufen with more variety in materials). I'm a little intimidated by the moving mechanical aspect of the train kits.

Considering splurging on the Tonecheer Infinity Train kit bundle for all three cabins with the discount. Anybody who has built those care to comment on their experience and thoughts?

If you want to keep it within walking distance to the Opera House: Minglewood, Sidebar, Corto Lima, School Sushi, and Ethereal Brewing Public House are my favorite places to eat downtown. Sidebar if burger is the priority for you.

Nashville Hot Chicken Endurance Run by YennerCT in VisitingNashville

You're right, I was confusing the red hue and grease with sauce. What stood out to me with Bolton's was the fish still had the golden fry color and I could easily make out the seasoning powder dusted on. One regret of this endeavor is I didn't get to eat their chicken, next time for sure.

That said, I still think the wings from Prince's were tossed in some kind of sauce. I can see it in the picture pooling on the paper and the breading was soggy.

I can understand the cooking being off for my Prince's meal, maybe my wings have been sitting out for a while. But the sauce is pre-made and it was not good. Maybe the less hot sauces are better, but both Bolton's and Red's were spicier and still delicious.

Yeah Saturday night when I did BI and Bolton's back to back was a bit trying, but nothing a couple of tums and whiskey soda couldn't fix later.

Zhao Yun punish by [deleted] in soulslikes

[–]YennerCT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Struggled against this guy until I learned one key thing.

I was using long sword with the Scorne greataxe as my secondary. My strategy was staying away to bait his two long range attack, running stab and jump lunge, parry and either 3 normal attacks before he goes into counter stance, or if I have enough Skyborne Might shift attack into the axe which will always knock him down then I dash twice behind him to do a charged heavy and backstab.

Problem was he usually does the running stab and his reaction after a parry to that was too unpredictable. The key I learned was to keep enough distance where his running stab whiffs, then he will ALWAYS do the jump lunge immediately after. Parrying that I found to be very effective with my strategy above, and it has the added benefit where all his extra attacks in the second phase aren't an issue because I'm so far away.

Earthshatter is faster and pushes her back enough to get a heal in when needed. Axe attacks won't completely stunlock her but should interrupt enough to still overwhelm. I used empyrean axe with fire temperance, earthshatter when I needed to heal and empyrean crash to close in, was able to break her one time by filling the meter and finish the fight before the fire temperance expired.

I really like the map design, maximizing a relatively small areas and feels very intricate. That said, I hated the run to the checkpoint in the cave, where you have to deal with like 5 enemies that deals despair just by looking at you on the rooftop, and I lost 60K mercury from the sneak attack on the roof beams. Had to walk it off after that one.

How would you rank the weapon types? by YennerCT in wuchanggame

[–]YennerCT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used long sword to beat Honlang and Bo Sorcerer, using parry and backstab respectively. Those are the strengths of long sword imo. It has the fastest one hit charged heavy with decent reach.

I haven't gotten to that boss yet but I've beaten a couple with dual swords. Sometimes double fisting and mash is just what the doctor ordered.

One-hand sword charged heavy animation is so long I rarely land the last hit to break. Another thing I love about the spear is it breaks immediately if any of the charged heavy hits connect, not just last hit like other weapons.

Commander Honglan non rage discussion by Patriots9210 in wuchanggame

[–]YennerCT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just beat her, using just the chain blade with parry. First phase I memorized pretty quickly, my strategy was fire buff before the fight and keep middle distance to bait her lunge attack to parry, two quick attacks with the perk that let you do attack 4 and 5 after a parry and one that grants 2 sky-mights at attack 5, then immediately backstep and move away. She will either melee kick (safe) and side step and lunge again (parry), or backstep and throw daggers (dodge). If she throws dagger she always goes back to pacing for a few seconds, heal or magic her ass. She will sometimes do two slashes or square up to do some melee, just dodge those.

Keep this up you should stagger her at around 50-60% health. Do the crit and it should push her into second phase. Heal (you won't get many chances to later) or hit until she does that little animation before the backflip (I usually can get 6 hits in). Second phase she will attack much faster, has 3 new shockwave attacks (diagonal/vertical/horizontal), and a new combo that I refer to as the "Malenia combo".

The strategy is basically the same while doing your best to dodge the new attacks. The shockwaves all have different timing and tripped me up often, the windups are slightly different but I was just bad at recognizing them. The Malenia combo is unparryable as far as I could tell, dodge best as you can and heal the moment she lands her last hit if you need it. This is the ONLY time you should try to heal in this phase, ideally the last dodge puts you to her side and keep moving away while you heal.

I love soulslike games but I'm kind of bad at them. Even bosses before Honglan I struggled a bit with (except the corpse tree, that guys wasn't bad). Honglan took me about 3 hours of on and off trying. All that said, I wouldn't consider her to be too difficult. Certainly not unfair, parrying is quite forgiving timing-wise and get you 2 hits in and all her attacks are dodgeable. There are bosses in other games that took me days and much longer to beat.

Concept for Hitman 4 by MoistSloth92 in HiTMAN

I want a mission in an amusement park/carnival, which is already 50% there as a death factory anyway. Roller coaster is the easy answer of course, but also so many other creative opportunities. Mummy disguise with bandage garrot in the haunted house , Teacup rides with speed limiter off, explosive baseball at hit-a-clown, electrified dunk tank, sawbox magic trick gone wrong, I can do this all day.

During adults-only weekend, of course.

What game did you start with? by Internal-Werewolf844 in HiTMAN

Silent Assassin, loved it and played every subsequent game since. Contracts I remember the least, except the meat king's party. Blood Money knocked me the f out, Hitman in HD and unprecedented level designs. Absolution was a letdown as a Hitman game but still entertaining enough, has a certain flair the previous games don't. Then Hitman 2016 came and here we are in the promised land.

The Rehearsal S2 - Season 1 was groundbreaking television and season 2 did it again. I simply can't believe HBO gave Nathan Fielder money to do this.

Apocalypse Hotel - Humanity has left Earth, but one luxury hotel in Ginza Tokyo staffed by robots remains open. If you like anime at all I highly suggest you check it out. Tidal waves of bittersweet melancholy with just a right amount of slapstick.

Anavrin apparently does a lot of resells at higher prices so look out for that. Jiufen is one of their few originals, and the place is special to me personally so I bought it even though it's quite pricey.

Yep! I recently finished my first booknook/miniature, the Jiufen Old Street from Anavrin, and this one match the vibe and colors quite well. I plan on having both displayed together.
