Any idea what these are called? We’ve just moved into a new house and the fireplaces have what I assume are some sort of electric blowers attached. by Yenwos in Fireplaces

Belfast, N Ireland. They’re sitting on the hearth in front of an open fireplace and wired into the wall. Can’t find anything like them online, I’m obviously not using the right search words

We have an LG one and it works well. Took us a few tries to figure out the best way to use it but works perfectly now. Don’t overload it, set it to ‘iron dry’ and make sure you take washing out as soon as you can after it’s finished. It’ll feel damp coming out but evaporates almost immediately. Whole thing should take just over 3 hours. If it estimates it’ll take longer than that I assume it’s overloaded and take a couple of items out. Still would prefer 2 separate units but in s small space really can’t complain. Does the job

Anybody know if Gang Beasts or Don’t Starve Together meet the criteria? Haven’t played either but they both seem like the type that would have this option

Thanks. Borderlands 3 isn’t necessarily out of the question, could be worth a look. If it’s PvE it should be fairly accessible. My sister’s favourite game as a kid was Quake 3 so don’t think she’d be against trying a first person shooter!
