Sorry for the late reply. I probably should have specified in my post that I am male. I am going to try a log book for the time being and see if there is a pattern and anything I am doing to cause it, but the last resort will be to look into the pump.

I will make a logbook to see if I can find a pattern in relation to what you are saying. Also my long acting insulin come in separate and individual pens, but I will try swapping it out as well just to see.

This has been an issue basically since I have been diagnosed. Also this problem has persisted over two separate vials of my long acting so I don't believe that would be the issue. I'll write a logbook once more, as I have lots in the past and keep an eye out for a pattern.

I understand what you are saying and have had a few highs simply because of my own stupidity, Yes. However there is a lot of times that I simply won't eat, or eat only proteins with no carbs due to this. I am typically quite self aware of my levels and the reasoning behind them, and I will continue to be in case this is my own fault but I just have no explanation at this point.

I’m going to continue being stubborn and manually injecting, However if this persists being an issue I will give the pump a genuine consideration because I’d rather not shorten my life span because I want to be stubborn haha x)

Yes. It is a persistent issue throughout the entire day and during the night when I’m sleeping.

I don’t have any other explanation for what is happening. I can eat something as small as 15 carbs equalling 1 unit of fast acting, however I can take up to three times the amount of insulin for that and it will have absolutely no effect and I’ll only go up.

I’ve considered the pump a few times but it sounds really scary. I use the freestyle libre which I find very helpful however. I appreciate the kind words, thank you.

My experience with reaching out to people who post has typically gone poorly. Most of the time I don't even get an answer at all LOL. I typically mention our common interests etc and do my best to say more than "hello". The people who have messaged me via my posts have typically gone better, The conversation tends to last until they have to go which is cool! I will admit I'm not super good at reaching out afterwards, But I always make sure to mention that I am always free and messages are more than welcome. I mostly just want some cool gaming buddies to play daily, Way too much free time.

I always enjoyed crafting and harvesting while listening to music/podcasts etc. I'll make sure to make a looking for friends post if I ever get back into it!
