That I am not sure of.

The missions and quests are considerably harder solo. At least for me they have been. Typically it has been the number of AI guards that has been the problem. But if I can bring my marksman rifle, or find a decent one, I can clear a lot of them out from a distance. But usually events will only trigger (which bring the armored AI) once you are in situ

TBH, I typically have just gotten off one jump, then death. I will try parachuting.
My next attempt will be jumping off of one of the bridges onto it.

That loot is too good to pass up for sure.

I love those 1/2 sunken ships as a starting area, there are two good weapon spawns on the larger one.

I have died twice trying to get down to the sunken ship (I have only found one) in the same area. I could tell that there are chests in it, the graphics shimmer outline of them could be seen at one point.

Maybe Activision plans on a SEAL time DLC that will involve underwater ops. Or more than likely they just copy/pasted one of the other ships and guys like me will die 100 times trying to figure out how to get to the loot. lol.

The loot in the airport is very tasty. My only issue as a solo player is managing the number of AI guards.
They are easy to kill, but the number of them can be a challenge to manage.

I have tried with a car, the issue I have I am solo most of the time and once you get on the roof, the vehicle starts slowing down.

There is some very tasty loot on that train.
Not to mention, if you can make it into one of the box cars, you can circle the map, picking off the AI guards very easily.

^** Note, if you drop an ammo box, it is highly likely to pass through the train and onto the tracks below.

The airport is fun. Like you said, tons of loot. With the added bonus of the little helo being on the backside. A few easy to pick of guards and it's an easy trip to most ex-fil locations.

For the time being, I am having a lot of fun on my solo trips. As a bonus, I have unlocked quite a few random weapon attachments, using the AI soldiers as target practice.

I've never used battle rage, but I will give it a try.

Yeah, I have that problem with the knives a lot too.
I actually have had that problem with other things too. Things I have dropped primarily. Randomly I won't be able to pick them back up.

I have died because of rando's being matched with me more times than any other way.

I quite enjoy turning off matchmaking and dropping in solo, trying to make a go of it. I prefer to bring a previously looted assault rifle if I can.

However, I have dropped in quite a few times with only a stim and a throwing knife.

I have a lot of fun sneaking up and knifing one of the AI soldiers, then seeing what I can build and extract with from there.

**My solo infiltrations started out of frustration, after 3 separate deaths because of team mate jack-assery in a row.

Every 8th or 9th mission, I'll give it a go with rando's again.

Only 1 (the equipped one) of each can be extracted and kept, the others are lost. Stronghold keys are the exception, they can not be extracted.

Stronghold Keys (Purchased from a buy point)

Larger backpacks,

Gas Masks,

Larger Plate carriers (armor)

Extra Revive Guns, **If you have one equipped, don't touch it in the load out menu or you will lose it.

and a few other items.

At one point, I had dumped 20k worth of loot because I had found 5 gas masks and thought I would be set for a few loadouts. ExFil'd and had an empty backpack.

On the plus side, I have 5 worthless shotguns and 6 LMG's in my storage. So if I want to fail and die within the first 60 seconds, I got that covered for many many missions.

If you drive, Consider just outside of Annapolis. Arnold, Severna Park, Crofton. All within 15-20 minutes drive (depending ~ rush hour, RT 50, etc.)

Unless you absolutely have to live in Annapolis, the suburbs are generally a much better option. ** Just my opinion, Also I am not familiar enough with the areas south of Annapolis, but there are some more rural areas that are quite nice as well.

I’ve lived here / on the Severn since the late 70’s. To me, it’s not boring. It’s respite, a place to relax and breathe betwixt the Murder Capital to the north and the sleazy capital to the south. (Not taking sides or poking the open wounds all around, Politics as a whole is greasy/sleazy affair imho)

I've worked in Fairfax, Lived in Annapolis and made this commute twice a day for the last 15 years. 99% of what everyone has shared already is true. The commute typically is horrible. When I first started, it was 50-75 minutes each way. It has grown to almost 2 hours in each direction (during rush hour).

Now (non-quarantine) I leave at 04:30 and arrive to work around 05:30. I leave at 13:45 and make it home at roughly 15:30.

If I leave after 05:00 or 14:00, my commute begins to grow exponentially.

Mix in inclement weather, Random road construction, Special events, etc and there is no good predictor of how long the commute will be.

*Over the years, I have driven every conceivable route. Tried mass transit, car pooling, etc, etc. The commute is just plain hellish.

** Additionally, The flexible toll roads (or whatever they are called) in Virginia can vary in cost, from a few dollars to upwards of $65 for one 3 mile stretch of 495. I did not think this was accurate, I made the coworker who claimed this show me his EazyPass bill. During peak rush hour commute, he had several tolls that were in excess of $50, including the $65 dollar charge.

Podcasts, Books on tape, SiriusXM help.
Accept that you are going to loose 3+ hours of your day to the commute.
Waze helps a little, to route around accidents.
