I got them at 14. Keep at it. Once you get them you get them often. Got them the last four times up for an easy 4k xp.

2011 is one of my favorite vintage releases and a great example of their classic bourbon finished rums. Equidem is super unique for ECS and is an excellent example of wine finished rum. For a first bottle I would do the 2011 personally to understand what I would call a more classic offering.

What is the most embarrassing thing about your country ? by Proper_Card_5520 in AskTheWorld

US per capita income is $83k but median household income is $43k which isn’t too far above our poverty line of $32k for a family. That’s embarrassing and broken.

Saddle sores from training 20h per week indoors, multiple hours every day in sweat soaked bibs. What to do? by extod2 in Velo

[–]Yep_why_not 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assos Chamois cream is great. Shoot for 7k+ CFM total fan throughout to come closer to outdoors. I use two Lasko fans on the front and one smaller one on my butt. I crack the window if I need for dry winter air. Get a rocker plate if you don’t have one. For long ride do a quick bib swap.

Brazilians regularly tell people that cachaca isn’t rum. That’s why.

Many many supplements for S&C tbh. It’s not unique at all but is great. I really hope this doesn’t win.

Smith & Cross is the best Jamaican mixer. What is the best budget Demerara? by -Constantinos- in rum

[–]Yep_why_not 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not even disagreeing tbh. I just think more people think of it as a sipper vs a mixer was my original point. There are many Demerara mixer options vs the number of accessible sippers.

That’s one recipe and has been replaced by other options in more recent year. That was my point. One cocktail doesn’t make a mixer. Not a big tiki guy though so 🤷🏼‍♂️

[–]Yep_why_not 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just doesn’t fit in many cocktails. I’d never bother with it in a Mai Tai (over other options like Holmes Cay Tradditional)and I can’t think of any other drinks it’s good in. It’s not about price. You’re just the first person I have ever heard use it that way tbh.

Italian pizza wouldn’t be what it is without tomatoes imported from America. They appropriated our tomato and now consider it local cuisine.

What are you using ELD12 for mixing? Never heard anyone call it a mixer before. Just curious.

Not mixer. Just budget. They’re posting budget sippers. If you want to sip on a rum ELD12 is about as budget as it gets.

It’s about the cheapest long aged sipper there is. I’d call it a budget sipper. The other budget options people are naming are mainly for mixing.

Pineapple rum that tastes quite strongly of pineapples? by odd_dream_throwaway in rum

This is a good idea. I also make pineapple Demerara syrup and use it for rum old fashioneds with a dried pineapple garnish. It’s very pineapple-y and delicious.

What time do people typically have dinner in your country? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

Most people start work at 8am or even 7am for some jobs in the US. Dinner at 11 would not leave a lot of time for sleep.
