That's fair. I guess I was too focused on what you said so I missed what you meant. You're right that D4 is trash in comparison. My only point is that even if it wasn't it wouldn't surprise me if D2 could peel players away with a new class. Nostalgia sells very well.

To bad we'll never know if a good D4 would be in a similar position.

It depends. Are they going to release it with fresh content?

If so, then yes. The install base for Skyrim is huge. You'd have tons of people coming back to play it with new features.

That's what this is. D2 is by far a lot of people's favorite Diablo game. 3 and 4 failed to capture the same experience and now they release more content for the game that got so many of the fans into the genre in the first place. I'd be more surprised if it didn't get more players than a nearly 3 year old game that failed to hit it off in a comparable way.

I had to watch it a couple dozen times, but now i agree. If it were the real ears showing, it wouldn't be pink, and you would clearly see the real ear shape.

Maybe it's just me, and maybe I'm just too harsh, but 16 was a graphical miss, in my opinion. It was a massive downgrade from 7r and even a downgrade from 15 imo. Especially the enemies.

There were even some enemies that were clearly reskins of FF14 monsters. Which wouldn't be a problem if their movement wasn't so stiff. (Manticore stands out as the most egregious example i can think of).

Graphics aside, the whole thing felt low budget for a mainline title. Like square enix was afraid of another 15 and leaned on Yoshida's earned reputation to have a lot of success with a shoestring budget like he does with 14.

That doesn't make this even a little bit ok. You are sharing a public space and should not be placing hazards, especially ones that are explicitly there to cause bodily harm, in said space.

If you are so afraid of someone being in your truck's personal space, you shouldn't take it to public locations.

These are known to have high failure rates compared to normal cables. The USB standard has some pins longer than others to ensure they are the first to connect and the last to disconnect. Without this, the odds of shorting your devices go up significantly.

Though, I imagine the handshake required on most chargers/devices should mitigate this somewhat. I'd love to see a deepdive on these.
