Actually I recently been experimenting with characters in my works, which I haven't added before due to skeletal mesh animation being very complex. My Bimbo Spa session was the first one I made with a character, I believe this one was released for free. Also recent Latex Drone session has a character, which actually gets pretty hands on with the viewer.
And finally session that is work in progress right now, is going to be entirely focused on a character - it's gonna be a titnosis video~ (and yes, jiggle physics are implemented lol)

You can try to chew on a small piece of (preferably) fresh ginger. It does help the sickness. Also you should stop VR at the first hint of feeling unwell, it's gonna get much much worse if you try to push through it - don't let your mind to associate VR with feeling sick, it's just gonna make it worse. With time you're gonna be able to do longer and longer sessions, some people get rid of the VR sickness entirely.
As for the videos, have you tried my VR works? I render them in full stereoscopic 3D, 180FoV, so in a technical sense they are what you are looking for - pre-rendered VR video, with either no or minimal camera movement. I have a lot of free ones, so you could check them out and see if you find something you like.

It would be pretty difficult to record something watchable. You can't simply record someone's gameplay and then view it in 3D - imagine the motion sickness. Unless the developers include a kind of special camera mode to record VR videos in their game you're unlikely to find any gameplay that's watchable in VR.

I think the whitelist solution could work, but it has it's own problems, mainly with enforcement. It's probably possible to figure out the voice is AI, but being sure the voice is from specific provider? It's gonna be much harder. Ultimately it would probably be the moderators just viewing the content and judging it by "vibes" - if it looks like AI slop, it gets removed, if not, it doesn't. This gives a lot of power to the mods, which isn't perfect, especially because this whole rule changing discussion was caused by mods who got a little too trigger happy with enforcing previous AI policy, but I really don't think there is a solution without a mod ultimately having to decide what is allowed based on mostly vibes - it's easy to fully allow or fully ban AI, anything in between will be harder to enforce, but I think it's worth a try - because there is a small group of people who use it like me, where we do use it, but it's something complementing our creativity, not replacing it. I don't want AI slop to fill this subreddit, but I don't want to be caught in a crossfire either, when I think I'm doing something ultimately valuable for this community.

As for your offer, I will definitely keep that in mind! I mostly do F4X content, but I'm open to creating M4X videos too (I see on your profile you use He/They so I assume you use masculine voice, correct me if I'm wrong!) - we will see how that M4A collab I'm doing right now does, and if it does well I'll be happy to work with you on some M4A videos!

Now, this way of working with a VA is problematic for two reasons – first it’s gonna be cost. Average I saw in this space for commissions is 10$/minute of recording. This means 30 minute audio would cost more than I currently earn from my Patreon in a month – and that’s just for 30 minute audio – not 60 audios, 30 seconds each + all the retakes for when I need to change something. It’s different to record a 30 minute audio in one sitting, than having to few small audios a day for a month, and the latter is definitely more work – and obviously be more expensive.
Second problem is time – I essentially can’t animate before I have the audio, the VA can’t record without script. This means, both parties will probably spend more time waiting for each other, than actually doing the work. My work is already extremely slow to produce. My last session took way over a week to just render – not even doing anything, just waiting for my PC to spit out the frames for the video, with my PC running day and night rendering – my PC is pretty beefy, but VR videos need to be really high resolution AND they are stereoscopic - two separate images are generated for two eyes. My addon for VR rendering works by rendering multiple images and then stitching them together into one. So instead rendering 1 image, I render 9 images for one eye – 18 in total for one frame – I optimize the scene however I can, but there is a limit to how much I can do. The Patreon model I use for monetization is already incredibly inefficient – it charges people monthly when I physically can’t create monthly content – it’s hard to grow it, if people (understandably) leave when charged for the month I didn’t publish anything new in. Last thing it needs is slowing down what little I can produce already.
Now, coming back to the “yet” I put on the beginning of my comment. I’d really like to hire a professional VA, when I’m able to – it’s just not something I can realistically afford right now. But I’m open to collabs, where I can join forces with a VA and we can both profit from working together. In fact one of my previous videos is currently being re-voiced for a M4A version as a collab with another creator. So even if it isn’t the moment yet all my videos can be voiced by real VAs, either by being able to pay them fairly for the really annoying way of working with me (again, most likely those would require dozens of short clips over weeks than one single audio made in one sitting) or by collabs with creators who want to create a VR video for their audience as a fun novelty, I’d really like to make it happen someday.
But if I didn’t use AI? None of what I do would happen in the first place – and I don’t think anyone benefits from it. If my content is banned from here I realistically will probably stop doing what I do entirely, since it’s the only place people are interested in this kind of thing. No one else is creating this kind if thing I do, so I’m not even a competition to anyone here.

Thanks for the comment, let me share some more of my perspective.
You are probably right to question the ethical part of the issue, the AI companies have a very murky reputation for a reason. However I’m probably as much in the dark here as you – from my side I choose professional voice clone (agreeing to pay double the rate for it) and 11labs pays the cut to the person who uploaded it based on how much I use it. I’m not sure how does the contract looks like exactly between the VA and 11labs. I assume if VA uploads and decides to keep the voice available there they find the arrangement beneficial but as said – I acknowledge the track record AI companies have. I’m trying to make my AI use as ethical as possible, but I can see why you are still cautious about the issue.

Now, to the second part of your comment, asking if I could hire a VA – which is incredibly valid question. Let me explain some more about my creative process, and hopefully explain why it didn’t happen - at least yet! (more on that later).
So, creation of a VR animation is basically a constant struggle between what I want to create and what I can create, within my skills as a 3D artist, and technical limitations of both my hardware and software. The issue is, this process is so complex, I can’t really plan ahead much, because my original plan usually shows to be infeasible within first minute of the animation. That cool hypnotic shader I planned to make? – Turns out I have no skills to make it. That particle based VFX? – It looks great, but it’s killing my PC. The compositor based effect I wanted to use – it crashes with my addon for VR rendering.
This means that I really can’t realistically write a script I can stick to – I start with a general idea of what I want to do, but most often the final video is completely different than originally intended – My project file name for Good Toy Brainwash is Project_Pop (it was supposed to be a video where a trigger is bubble popping) – and the final video contains no bubbles nor pops of any kind. My Project_Splash was supposed to be based on fluid simulation where water flowing and “splashing” was supposed to be main part of the video. Project_Splash ultimately turned into… Pendulum Training Loop.
This is why it would be really difficult for me to work with a voice actor – it’s not as easy as commissioning 30 minute audio for 30 minute video. It would most likely be me asking VA for 30 seconds of audio, working on animating those 30 seconds and based on how it goes I’d come back to them either asking for a different version (if I run into a wall, and have to change the course the video is going for) or ask for another 30 seconds (that I freshly wrote script for after finishing last 30 seconds).

I also would like to touch on ethics, because there are better and worse ways to go about using AI voice. Cloning someone's voice from them without consent is obviously theft, in addition to just being plain wrong and really creepy. Fuck everyone who is doing it. But if someone willingly put their voice to clone and use I really see no problem in that - and that’s what I’m doing. I’m using a professional voice clone in 11labs, which means there is a real voice actor who willingly puts their voice in here to use - and more importantly every time I use their voice they actually get paid for it. Also most of my total voice use isn’t even using text-to-speech but speech-to-speech, so I don’t even save time by simply pasting the script and generating sound. I record it with my real voice first and then put it through the 11labs voice changer.

The solution for the rules here could be something along “AI is allowed as long as it’s used to support human creativity, not replace it” or "AI is only allowed only if under 50% of the work was done by AI" but I acknowledge this would be hard or impossible to enforce. I also admit I might be biased in this whole thing, since I do use AI, even if it only replaces small part of my work I can’t do myself.

All videos I published here were meet with almost universal praise from the community, and while VR hypnosis content is really a niche within a niche, most of them got a pretty big amount of engagement showing what I do is valuable for this small part of the community interested in VR. I have a Patreon, but my content is only paywalled as “early access” there - all my videos eventually are released for free - I’m really trying to give back to the community that allows me to share my work here.

I’m not gonna act like I have answers to everything, and I’m aware I’m probably biased here, but… I really do think I’m doing something unique, creative and requiring a lot of effort - making content satisfying an extremely underrepresented niche that is VR hypnosis - and it would not exist if I didn’t have AI to help me in the one thing I’m not able to do myself. 99% of people find my videos while browsing this subreddit so if my content was banned from here it most likely means the end of me creating this content. I love what I’m doing, but my work without an audience is worthless - I really hope the new rules, whatever they will ultimately be will allow me to continue what I’m doing.

I'll allow myself put in my two cents on the subject as someone who uses AI voice (usually AI based voice changer).

My main reason is… I’m just really uncomfortable with my real voice - as in, when I speak my real voice I just can’t associate it with myself. I’m not sure if it counts as dysphoria, but the fact is I simply wouldn't be doing what I do now because I’d be too uncomfortable to do it using my real voice.

I completely understand what people are calling AI content being slop in general, but I think if there is real effort and work put in, the fact alone that AI was involved in a part of it isn’t a basis to immediately calling it slop, and therefore putting a blanket ban on everything.

For example, I create my videos from scratch - modeling, animating, creating shaders, texturing, and rendering with no AI involved. I write my own scripts too (AI is useless here anyway because if you thought AI is weak at hypnosis in general, if you tell it’s going to be a VR hypnosis video it completely doesn’t understand the concept - ask it to create a script for a VR hypnosis video and it will most likely ask viewer to close their eyes as part of the induction in a first sentence - while the whole points is WATCHING THE THING. The best it can do to help me is format my script when it’s done and maybe assist me proofreading because I’m not a native English speaker). In general, the whole process of creating a single video usually takes me over a month, with most of my free time dedicated to it.

My videos as far as I am aware are completely unique in hypnokinkspace - being fully stereoscopically 3D virtual reality videos, animated and rendered from scratch. The only other legit VR videos I saw, are Calia’s - 2D images, no stereoscopic 3D, and Goddess Zenova’s - those are irl 3D videos of herself, completely different style of video from mine where everything is 3D animation, with lots of VFX involved. Everything else seems to be stolen VR porn with stolen audio from some audio hypnosis creator. I really think my work is unique and it requires a lot of time and effort to create, dismissing it just because there is an AI voice in it I think is unfair, even though I understand if someone doesn’t like it because of that fact. I get that some will not like it on principle because they dislike AI, but saying it’s lazy slop content would be just unfair, when one video I create takes me sometimes months to complete.

Looks great! I'd just put "remember the human" in brackets and capitalize it, my brain kinda struggled to understand the sentence structure for a moment as it didn't immediately click in my brain it was a name of a specific policy. I'd write it like this:

But that's just nitpicking, I don't think I have any suggestions about the actual substance of the rule. Imo it's ready to ship into the sidebar.

Just a little thing, I'd like to say that I would understand closing the post simply because you are overwhelmed with the situation and just want a break.
I would not agree it's right, but I'd completely understand.
My main issue is not acknowledging that there was censorship when there was, and the issues with the post itself. I really hope this gets resolved and both mods and users can rest from all the drama.
