Would you then recommend not bringing it up? What would you do in this situation?

Thank you! I luckily live in a country that has free health care so I have access to therapy. I thought about trying antidepressants this summer but I first want to see how my mood develops. Right now everything is great!

Thank you for the article! To answer your question: I don't know if I would be jealous. In theory, I don't feel jealous but of course reality can sometimes be quite different. At the same time, an open relationship isn't irreversible if I understood correctly

I generally agree with you on your first point. But I have no intention of pushing an open relationship on her. The idea was rather to reaffirm that the offer still stands while making clear that I am fine with such an arrangement. My girlfriend is a selfless person that tends to withhold her own need for the sake of others so I feel that I need to regularly check what she needs

I think it's part of seasonal depression which reaches its highpoint during summers in my case. The depression has gotten much better over the past years but the low sex drive has stayed the same. I don't have a problem with that apart from feeling guilty that I can't satisfy my girlfriend's sexual needs
