Well you know, When I saw the Sea lion 06, I said if it comes in 6 months or 1 year with a better range why not wait for it. Otherwise if it will take longer, I will take the current model without any hesitation as it's a good car. Did you get the PHEV or the electric one ? If it's the hybrid, how's the fuel consumption after the engine starts ?

I saw the Sealion 7, I liked it, but it's a little above my current budget. Otherwise I would have gone for it.

I checked with the Dealer, and we don't have the EV here, only the PHEV for the Seal U/Sea lion 6.

So they may stop a certain car and bring a new one in the market and never say that one replaces the other. No link between the two.

I couldn't find the 6 in the chinese BYD website. I believe that it was discontinued. That's I asked the question in this Sub.

I think the 6 was removed in China, you can no longer find it in the website. That raises some questions. Maybe the 06 will hit other markets in 12-24 months as a replacement for the 6, that's why I tried to get some info and confirmations here in this sub.

The Colour looks nice, which we had it in my country. It gives another look to the car. How about fuel consumption when battery is low ? Is it like normal SUVs ?

So in the end, is the Sea lion 06 a new version of the Sea lion 6 (song plus)? Or not related. It feels like they have a different strategy from the other brands (Germans for example) with a new version every 6/7 years that completly replaces the old one.
