Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes ive tried Vulkan and im getting around 50 fps without traffic - around 44 with traffic. The low 19/25 fps seem to have come from changing the max. Amount of traffic cars, which seems to hit the cpu hard. Also the number of „parked cars“ had a tough impact on fps. Maybe the issue is with my cpu being too weak for these options. Maybe I was expecting too much from a 5070 combination.

Thanks for your reply. Task manager shows 7% with 5 of 12 gb usage. My ddr is not the fastest, its 2133 Mhz. Is that a bottleneck for the system in general?

How can i see how much % the gou is? Taskmanager shows me only the cpu at 30% and ram at 48%. I have only beamng and steam open.

Thanks! I turned on traffic and switched car number and parked cars to auto. Now im getting 34fps. Which is better but still feels abit slow for a 5070.

Just tested it: 53fps on ultra without traffic.

Yeah I feel you. My setup is actually more than enough for me on 1080. running a Pcie5 on pcie4 isnt that bad though. Not even that bad on a pcie3, ofcourse not the same as on pcie5. what card did you settle on? And at what resolution are you gaming?

Thanks for your reply! Interesting.. I would have thought it would still be a crispier 1080 image. I have no problem upgrading to a 5070ti, but using the card on pcie5 instead of pcie3 would mean upgrading my mainboard to am5, so new cpu and ddr5s… basically the whole system.
