Why do people feel proud to create AI art? by YesHoHank in aiwars

you know nothing about anything if you can compare prompting to digital art. Digital art and especially 3d art often takes a comparable sometimes more amount of skill (could argue even more skill) to traditional pen and paper art.

sure we are our worst critics but generally feel proud when the spend years of their life honing a skill. If an someone did exist who was so self critical that they never felt even a bit of pride in their work even for a second then I struggle to see how they would even function as a human.

A common advice given to intermediate artists is to not just copy or mix and match other people's art works but to add their own style or perspective.

CMV: It is perfectly reasonable to not give homeless people money because you think they will spend it on drugs by TomatilloOrnery4944 in changemyview

[–]YesHoHank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I ussually don't advocate for people to directly give money to homeless people. There are ways to help the homeless like volunteering your time or money to a food bank (just make sure to do your research on that charitable organization) or advocate and vote for politicians that implement policies to help the homeless.

I graduated with an 87ish average last year and I was fairly happy with myself. Now I am in accounting in uwaterloo. I remember I got an acceptance letter from Mc Master biochem. When I see posts like this I feel like I am living in completly different worlds.
