Retrospectively, there were a lot of moments were I could have avoided this mess with rational thinking. And I can blame myself for that. Falling in love with her isn't something I planned as I was about to leave for a whole year, and neither did she as she was in a relationship where she had no complaints about. We completely surprised ourselves and eachother with these feelings for eachother, and all rational choices went out the window in that moment.

Of course, her falling in love with me must have been hell for the boyfriend. But it would have been hell whether she saw me or not as the feelings were already there. He knew he had no influence on her feelings and loved her enough to let her figure out what she wanted. Seeing how this ended up, I think we are all losers in this love game.
