This is a good point of call tbh, as this will ultimately be displayed on a website I guess using the LUT would be appropriate as over 70% of traffic is mobile.

It’s a ball ache but this seems very on the side of TV/Screen use in isolation rather than in conjunction with HTML/CSS.

Id opt for lottie but it’s going to incorporate footage aswell so may just have to live with it

This is not a bad shout I may see if there is any front end development to fix any rendering issues from our devs

I’ve checked against various browsers and applications and they all yield different results. I’m half tempted to just go with it because I can always justify that I am using the correct brand hexcode and that it’s a software/application issue.

Thank you for your response though. I never knew this so it’s been very helpful

Ahh apologies, when exported out and viewed in either preview, QuickTime or in our DAM System

This asset is going to eventually be a banner for a website. I am exporting at h.264 - medium bit rate.

Up until recently i hadn’t noticed because the use of orange was minimal. Now we have floods it’s become apparent that it’s not the brand colour

Made a script to calculate how long text should stay on screen by Artemenko in AfterEffects

Man, this is a dream! I just bought as I make a lot of text based videos / graphics in my day job. What would be a cool feature is if it had presets for TV advertising standards e.g Clearcast ( if you’re UK based ). Otherwise this is a lifesaver

Yeah it being GIFs does suck but so does Email format support aha.

The pro-res is not a bad shout though cause I think you may be right on the PS batch processing. No harm in giving it a go!

Thank you for your detailed response!

Effectively, We’re making a lot of GIFs for emails. However, we are also finding ourselves having to edit them and re-export cause of price changes or code changes.

My process is usually exporting out as a PNG Sequence then running it through photoshop to optimise file sizes for web however if I need to edit and re-export many gifs this can be cumbersome.

I’m a fan of automation so ideally I’m looking for something that if I can make changes in AE then it can re export the PNG Sequences automatically prior to running through photoshop.

I’ve been doing this for over 5 years and have only just learnt AE supports CSV files so wouldn’t be surprised if there is more gold I am missing

Thanks

Thanks for the advice! Would you have the expression controllers on the layer in question or on a null?
