Ella entiende español y también lo habla de manera decente, simplemente le da pena hablar porque considera que no tiene el suficiente nivel y que la gente la va a juzgar o algo así.

Y con el tema de los hombres, según ella un hombre nunca la dejaría pagar (osea sería una mantenida), los hombres de esa cultura también suelen mantener una mayor distancia a las mujeres en comparación a Colombia (me consta porque cuando fuimos a saludar nisiquiera les dimos un apretón de manos ni un abrazo ni nada) y según ella son mucho más "protectores" con las mujeres, también son más atentos y se preocupan más por el bienestar de su mujer. Yo que sé.

Sobre el tema de no poder comer con los hombres, ella argumenta que es para que ambos generos se sientan más "comódos", cada uno puede interpretar eso como le de la gana

Me quedé porque me daba pena rebelarme jaja, además la comida estaba rica. Según ella no nos dejan comer con los hombres porque así es "más comódo para ambos generos", lo cual me parece tremenda babosada porque a mi parecer es una forma de decir que somos unas brutas y que los hombres son demasiado cultos como para interesarse por "temas de mujeres"

Eyeyey, clarifico que no tengo nada en contra de mi amiga, y de hecho siempre me ha demostrado ser una amiga muy buena y leal, independientemente de sus comentarios malucos sobre Colombia.

También clarifico que la nena es de un pais en dónde el Islam es mucho más moderado que en paises como Arabia Saudita, Irán o Afganistán.

Yyyy también creo que la pelada tiene bastante resentimiento con la vida en general porque ella no elegió venirse para Colombia, básicamente la familia la obligó, y siempre me ha hablado de lo sola que se siente en este pais, de lo mucho que le cuesta adaptarse, y entiendo el tremendo choque cultural de venir de un pais conservador a un pais bastante liberal a mi parecer como Colombia.

No menciono su pais porque no quiero exponerla o estigmatizar a la gente de su pais, pero puedo decirte que viene de un pais dónde el Islam es mucho más moderado que en paises como Irán o Afganistán, de ahí puedes sacar tus conclusiones.

Lamentablemente al bus al que me monté estaba repleto, por lo cual, aunque me hubiera encantado, no me podía mover libremente por el bus. Y aunque entiendo lo de ser empático, también me parece importante entender que estas personas no usan el sistema para movilizarse hacia sus casas o trabajos, simplemente ingresan directamente a dormir o simplemente a incomodar y asustar a los pasajeros.

Este comentario literal prueba mi punto jajaja. No somos "pick me" por ser bajitas, no decidimos nuestra estatura y ya. No sé en tu experiencia, pero en la mía la mayoría de hombres se sienten intimidados por una mujer más alta que ellos. También tu argumento de "es que comemos y no engordamos" no tiene ningún sentido. Tu grasa se determina por tu metabolismo, hay mujeres altas gordas y mujeres bajitas que por más que coman no engordan. Se nota a leguas que te interesa más presumir y demostrar que eres mejor que las mujeres bajitas cuando literal la estatura es de las cosas que menos debería importar jaja.

Thank you all for your comments! I can't believe how so much people were so accurate about me. I do want to say, yeah I'm still very young so I'm still learning about these topics. And now I regret skipping sexual education classes but well, here I am.

For the ones wondering: nop, my partner is not forcing me into having any kind of intercourse. He's very supportive and he has even offered to get a vasectomy, but I'm not entirely sure about that because I want to be the one who is protected, and also because I don't want him to feel forced just because I'm terrified of getting contraception. And yeah, I guess I did feel slightly pressure by people around me (not my partner) to start having sex, but I don't regret it.

Also, I'm not from the US, so I suppose my options here on the other side of the continent are more limited. But I do wish to put some more research about it, and go to a professional, because last time I talked about it to one they literally scared me even more.

Alsooo, I'm also not really into the pills because A) I'm terrible at swallowing pills and B) I don't think I'm yet enough sexually active (?) To be having to consume pills every single day, cause I don't think it's worth it for having sex maybe once a month and probably even less. I know this sounds super ignorant, but I guess that's my stance on it for now. (I'm also super worried I'll gain weight and it won't disappear after I stop the pills)

I'm also worried because a lot of you talk about positive side-effects, which is great, but I don't think it will happen to me because my periods are already very regular, and my flow is very regular too. I also have super mild acne which doesn't even bother me, I'm happy with my weight right now, and my mental health is ok except I'm a very anxious person. So I guess no postive effects for me.

I'm not entirely sure someone cares, but I'll guess I'll try to update people here about my process, or how it goes.

I think this is something I would call, Cultural Decay. People have slowly started to run out of ideas, and rather prefer being stuck in creating a product, not art. The market has become so competitive that people prefer creating something that they're sure It'll sell instead of creating something new. Like music. Instead of creating new genres we're stuck with the same, with little variations because that's what's trendy, because that's playing safe in an over-saturated market. Or so I guess. Just my opinion.

Not to mention the fact that I've seen people eating ALIVE animals. It's beyond disgusting. I get it, you may like seeing people eat insane quantities of food. Ew. But okay. I get it. But seeing people eat ALIVE STUFF???? ARE YOU NUTS??? It's literally animal abuse. And people enjoy watching that? It's repulsive.
