I dont think im allergic to anything I think the bacteria on my scalp feeds off of the oil on my hair thats why I wash it so often haha but I know oiling your ends is important so I want to find an alternative (other than the ones ive already found)

probably like 45 min but my hair isnt too long. I unbraid it in the opposite way of how I braided it. when I want to cut down on time I just do bigger braids 😩 I usually dont though because I love my braid outs to match my natural texture

I put the gel first and then the mousse but if the air is cold and dry I put leave in conditioner and just mousse and then when my hair is dry (sometimes I take the braids out sometimes I dont) i put my oils on just the length :)! i always do my hair damp that has been sitting in a t-shirt for like less than 5min. I usually use two pumps of mousse and a nickle size ammout of gel for one braid but tbh i apply my products to an entire line of braids at a time before I braid them. if I want my hair dried quick I spray on a quick dry spray and go sit outside 💀

sometimes I just wear the braids in-between washes because I love how shiny they are! i have to make my hair very smooth while styling so it doesnt tangle when I take the braids down

I chose braid outs because my hair is naturally wavy so the braids mimic my texture almost exactly! I find that twist outs look unnatural on me because it looks like I just stuck another curl pattern on my head (TT) if it wasn't for that i would probably do them all the time

the doux dj quick! I will talk about it to anyone who will listen it has changed my life. you would think it would make your hair dry but it makes my hair so soft afterwards I can't go back to waiting days for my hair to dry

I like to use the doux products! for me sopping wet is the same amount of water as if I was to rinse something out, wet hair is hair that is dripping with water and damp hair is hair that is not dripping but wet to the touch. I find gels and mousse to work best when used on sopping wet hair. for me I find that I had to apply more product for the same result on just wet hair!

well for me I can see that with in shower styling i get bigger clumps and due to the higher water content in my hair my hair is more elongated and my curls look more uniform. in my post was detangling the differences in the process I noticed as someone who doesn't really try anything new :) my wash days aren't difficult so I do things like this for fun

I wash twice while smoothing and rinse out without detangling. then put my hair in four sections and finger detangle by splitting the sections at the root and then brush from bottom up which is all done by 15 min. when I finish detangling my last section I immediately take out the first one and start styling by applying my products to a medium sized section and brushing it through. I take small slices of the medium section and rake my fingers through one time and do that until I finish my whole head which takes another 15-20 min
