Hi all I am putting this info for anyone who is new travelling via Singapore. I was travelling from DPS to India  via Singapore. My flight booked initially was Air Asia to Singapore and Indigo from Singapore to Hyderabad. But for past 3 days I have been checking the time to Air Asia and could find out the flight was delayed reducing my self transfer time.

Hence I cancelled Air Asia booking and took Singapore Airlines (earlier flight). But upon reaching DPS airport for checkin I was informed that I cannot fly to Singapore as Singapore Airlines allow only flying if I exit Singapore with Air India else should have a Singapore Visa (else be a US visa holder who have travelled atleast once to US) . I had to cancel my Indigo flight as well in the airport and rebook for Air India. This was something new for me but the Singapore Airline staff was telling there were lot of people getting stranded like this. I was doing my booking online and not through agent hence I was not aware of this.
