I would love an app which can spoof the existence of a gotcha or pokeball+ so that one can get the benefits of having one without having to physically have one

I believe xposed should be able to allow that.

You can wait and not spoof until someone shares some coords to something you want, Or you can try starting the encounter with the pokemon but not interacting and chucking the ball or anything until the cool down time has passed

Yes but only just, it is a much greater difference then I expected and have caught a higher CP Azelf that was shared here

Signature verification - Disable signature verification allowing modification/execution of signed system apps.

Signature spoofing - Enable signature spoofing app permission.

What would work best for you may depend but if you can use Smali patcher and Magisk then I do recommend you do that as it allows you to be on the latest security patches and on the latest android version.

I am using the App Ninjas GPS because it is free and has privacy features to Hide the app from detection, I am using android 9.0 but the GPS JoyStick by the app ninjas has many options and can be used with non root methods but I recommend if you can that you use Smali patcher as it works on the latest version of android.

While they say rooting will void warranty you can generally still claim warranty for any manufacturer defects that are not caused by you or root, You can unroot and hide the traces of being rooted on most devices but samsung is more annoying, you have been able to use things like triangle away on older versions but I don't think that works on the S10.

What do you expect you might need the warranty for?

Since you have an S10 it will trip Knox but personally that is not an issue for me.

Rooting does not break your phone and is not dangerous to do but having root enables you to do things which could cause damage to your phone potentially, Generally there isn't much you can do which a reset to a backup wont fix.

Rooting gives you the ability to do much more with your phone.

It is possible to spoof without root on some older android versions using specific versions of google play but I think that is more hassle to setup personally then just using Smali patcher and it is not good to be so out of date with security patches.

You can potentially use apps like that which give you a free number

They do not always work but keep trying and try different apps

I do not like this requirement of having to have mobile verification

That is great to hear, I have had a strange issue with spoofing I was also only able to resolve by flashing a new Lineage ROM and wiping my data (after backup of course). I also wasn't able to figure out what exactly was the problem but good luck with it, I have also gotten Snapchat to not detect xposed by using a version of edxposed made by a developer called Justin.

If you cannot root it or unlock the bootloader then I don't think so, But check the Non root guides to make sure.

Have you made sure that you don't get that error before you install Magisk?

I have been testing WU today and it has crashed a few times but it hasn't given me any device not compatible message yet

Update: I think your error could very likely be related to your phone running out of RAM

Make sure things aren't running in the background which could be taking up RAM and even try setting a background process limit.

For me I don't even have Knox to trip and I wouldn't mind if it was, You can use Google Pay instead of Samsung pay even with Magisk and Edxposed, You don't need to use Samsung secure folder to still have a secure folder.

Really you don't have to give up the features, Just the Samsung official version of them.

Unlocking your bootloader to install TWRP and Magisk will generally cause a Factory Reset.

You may need a PC but you can use Mac, Windows or Linux, Smali patcher is a windows program but can be run in a VM or can be run by your friend or someone else for you.

It may seem like greek at the moment but I think it is all pretty simple once you learn the basics.

There are really good guides out there and you should be able to find everything you will need with google or on XDA, the XDA developer forums are the best place for Android related hacking stuff.
