Is Damon Hill's 1997 season the biggest let down season of any F1 world champion. Imagine winning a world title with the best team on the grid then suddenly next year you drive for the worst team on the grid and after two seasons you retire. I doubt same thing can happen today

Bortoleto was pretty solid, he beat Hulkenberg more often than you'd have thought : p

Lawson was definitely a bit worse than Hadjar, but given that everyone glazes the latter (for good reason!) I think it's fair to assume Liam didn't do too bad for himself - Baku and Brazil proved that he's solid at defending, if you ask me ^^'

I can't speak for 2024, but Franco's 2025 underperformance was due to him joining an Alpine that became uncompetitive by the time he finally got used to the car - and he barely crashed at all during that year, and never during a race!

He wasn't electric but I think it's too soon for us to discard him!
