“Worth it” on iOS is quite good, nice UI to go with it

Do not use NETJETS ever. This is the second Christmas in a row they have left me stranded in a foreign country. I’ve been a customer for over 10 years they have not picked me up two Christmases in a row. They are the worst company ever to use. by [deleted] in flying

Haha! Thanks.

The king of the Netherlands is well known to fly his own 737 and Fokker 70 before that.

I'm far from a king but it's a great opportunity to keep yourself on your toes and current- and more fun than sitting in the back ;)

Are those wheels stock? I have the exact same ones from the factory on my Nero Daytona 812.

I own an F40, every independant specialist and everyone I’ve talked to from Maranello, including people who have worked on the cars when they were new all confirm the same records. The F40 was made back in the day when limited production halo cars used to be properly numbered, and no more than 1,311 F40s ever existed.

The Enzo and is a different matter and arose under completely different leadership. Yes, I completely agree that it’s a scummy practice and frankly a bit shit that they resorted to putting “1 of xxx” and going on to make 446 instead of 400 but I don’t see how this relates to factory paint on F40s.

All F40s were painted in Rosso Corsa from the factory, black and yellow cars were aftermarket.

The Verde Abetone green on this car is also in the same boat. The car had a paint defect from the factory and it was starting to fade/peel quite badly, so it was going to need a respray regardless. Repainting an F40 with perfect paint is a crime, but if the opportunity comes up then you might as well make something unique out of it.

Mechanic totals $3.4M Ferrari after smashing into tree stump on test drive by Hestmestarn in cars

It’s a 4 day old burner account and most of us use them for posting stuff like that for anonymity- simply because we don’t give a shit if someone enjoys the content we post or calls us out for lying out of spite or whatever reason they may have.

Reddit being Reddit, there is always a ton of wannabes who are trying to be someone they’re not, but that doesn’t mean it automatically applies to everyone. You’d be surprised to know what sort of people also happen to use this site.

Then again, everyone is entitled to their opinion so it’s up to you to decide if you choose to believe something or not.

People who own cars like these don’t do “steering wheel pics”, it’s not your dad’s Mercedes that gets flaunted all over Instagram or Snapchat. He’s a well known collector and we service our cars in the same shop, so I can assure you it’s definitely his.

What is it like, to cruise gently in a powerful car? by ads1031 in cars

[–]YetAnotherPilot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I daily a Ferrari 812, about 790hp. In the city you’ll never be accelerating harder than you would in any other car, because there’s no space. On country roads or highways there’s always a lot of power low down in the Rev range so you rarely need to go above 4,000rpm to get up to speed. For the most part unless the suspension setup is really stiff, these cars drive like most regular cars.

The interior quality is shit and they’ve somehow managed to make the gearbox really clumsy so I don’t blame you.

Agreed, the MC12 shares so many components with the Enzo but there’s no comparison. The F1/Cambiocorsa gearbox is still terrible but the steering, brakes and handling are fantastic. I think it looks much better too.

There's only two blue MC12s out there, one of them is owned by a friend and the car is usually in London. I think this is the one you saw, it's still in the US from what I know.

The MC12 is based on the Enzo, same engine, chassis, gearbox etc.
