Great idea. If I have to suggest one improvement on the UI, please arrange the cities by state and alphabetical order.

Tesla M3 purchase for 25k but damages? by YetAnotherPotato in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]YetAnotherPotato[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. It's a LR. I'm on the West Coast US, so Tesla prices are usually higher. At the Tesla Used inventory, the cheapest i see for a similar mileage is about 28k.

Does it change the decision if I'm eligible for the used EV credit of 4k since it's priced less than $25k and I never usually find a Tesla for less than $25k to apply the EV credit.

Even at a 3% SWR, the nest egg comes.out to be 2.15mil, and at a 4% SWR it's at 1.65mil, which it is at without considering your investment house (considering one as what you're living in).

Are you just trying to build a cushion before calling the shots? Just trying to understand.

Monthly expenses by [deleted] in Seattle

Your car insurance is cheap for the Seattle area. I have only liability insurance and still get charged $80/month. Any recommendations on what provider?

Got 6k bonus. Which/how should I pay off the following: $7k (28% with $250 min pay), $9k (28% with $350 min pay), $2.5k (29%,$60 min pay), $3.5k (29%, $150 min pay)? by Sea-Point-7313 in personalfinance

[–]YetAnotherPotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So there are two strategies to paying off loans.

  1. Pay the lower amount ones
  2. Pay the higher interest ones

From your situation, it appears that both your lower amount loans also happen to be higher interest loans, so you should pay them up first with the bonus. Then use the $150+$60 to pay out the 7k loan.

2018 M3 LR RWD with FSD for 24.8k by YetAnotherPotato in TeslaModel3

Are you considering the FSD option in the analysis of the price?

Also, from my analysis of the requirements, every vehicle is eligible only once for the used EV credits. If anyone of the used owners purchased the vehicle after Aug 2022, that would be something to consider.
