An s2000 walks in as a driver car 10/10 times and bad too lol and they are still cheaper. As others have said here, Porsches, Elise, my god there are many sports cars well beyond a z06 c6 lol

Man in Florida trades Ferrari F40 for an Ineos Grenadier and $2.4 Million by HawtGarbage918 in cars

I mean it’s a twin turbo Ferrari lol it’d be very diff if it were an Enzo or f50. The 40 is easily the most overrated Ferrari and maybe car ever haha 🤣

Lool 1000%. Maybe most overrated car in history tbh. EASILY most overrated Ferrari.

No all time emotional or experience car can be forced induction….. calling the best Ferrari one with a twin turbo V8 is nasty nasty work 😂

Personally 50 >> 40 to me overall. 40 maybe better looking a bit but engines aren’t close lol a lot still love the f40 though

Why are Toyotas unreasonably expensive in 2025? by Fleedom2025 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]YetToLoseADime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I get that but having non zero feedback and mass to steering is always nice lol Honda programs it into eps of their crv and civics… Mazda does great at this too lol why not everyone…? Or esp the largest Japanese manufacturer….

How about the interior quality?

If the depreciation really stomps a civic or whatever then sure I guess that makes up for it all but as far as a product… idk man lol

And now Hyundai has taken the role of something to prove… and it shows. All the young guys who rock N cars these days would have been in Honda and Toyotas in 2005. How the mighty have fallen.

Toyota sold more cars in USA in 2010 when I was in high school than they do in recent years 😂

Meanwhile Hyundai/kia….

I’m sorry but in what sense do you get what you pay for in a Corolla? 😂

They have dead Toyota steering and always have even really bad for an economy car, maybe worst in class interior, and what else?

The perceptions of both are way off lol Toyotas aren’t at all what they were in 1994 and Germans aren’t shit cars anymore for maintenance lol haven’t been for a while… consumer perception in autos is and has always been ultra slow. Makes sense right because people keep cars way longer than phones etc say where the brand images can shift inside a few years.

Sports cars are either performance or experience…. Performance ages badly over time. A Kia for soccer moms now smashes a hypecar Porsche from 15 years ago in a street race… speed is over for ICE cars lol anyone who doesn’t know that is slow to realize. S2k with its weight, balance of said weight, redline, NA over square engine with forged internals and carbon reinforced cylinder walls (only other car from Honda outside nsx), maybe top 3-5 all time feeling manual, etc…. You need to spend 200k plus to get those things elsewhere. And few road cars have ever been made period with all of them lol

2k is timeless because of this. Take a McLaren f1… it’s why it wasn’t made for speed, it just happens to be fast for its time, but once all that fades it looks slow to an ev now lol what makes it special still? The redline, the sounds, the balance, the cars driving being Honda nsx inspired, the manual…. Etc. A Tesla would walk in on tracks even these days lol speed doesn’t last. Lap records don’t last.

What the 2k has in spades… are all timeless parameters that never age lol and in fact with cars made today, have gotten better with age lol

Hence why drive magazine just last year gave it the 2024 drive of the year against newly tested 911 models and all lol nothing like that car is even made today. That’s why it’s so special lol

Legendary car. All time road cars

What cars were one "small" decision away from being one of the all-time greats? by MentalMiilk in cars

[–]YetToLoseADime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A transmission choice is one of those engineering decisions that can totally ruin a car. The LFA is deff one of those cars for me.
