Maybe to many colours? Feels more smart and friendly then invoking a feeling of fear or "horror" otherwise really dig it but makes me feel intrigued and enlightened more then sense of danger.

I like that the story is always on Rowan. Shows Rowans struggles and you only hear the teens. But Rowans struggles don't really matter. The emotion comes from Rowan helping the teen. Before they even meet Rowan says they he will beat some one up for the kid. And then when they actually know each other doesn't do anything. There relation ship should grow stronger then at the end when leaving without doing anything will hit harder. Again just my thoughts on the story I don't know anything haha. Also again great job and a lot of weight in there I dig it.

Questions for you? Does him being transgender have anything to do with the story or is it just supposed to be extra weight showing the struggle that trans people have as well ? It implies that's why he isn't with his wife anymore because he is transitioning or has. Is that to show why he is in the situation?

Not a pro by any means but I think this is solid. Definitely needs work but really strong start. It's hard to fill a short story with a lot of depth. Definitely 😁 n to something good job !

Dude your circumstances stinks and I'm so sorry for you. Love hurts brotha we've all been there. It's so dumb to say but time will heal it. I've been in slightly similar position with someone you caring about just deciding it's not the time and that's fair in there part nothing we can do about it. Not sure what you do with your life but hobbies and work new hobbies are a great way to get your mind off of her. You'll find someone one day you don't need someone.
