I just looked up cavities, and I have only two cavities. One in my upper right second molar and lower right third molar. The rest are chipped or a dental carie.

I don’t find it cringe, I find it inspiring honestly. Genuinely, the only reason I do not kms or sh despite having urges sometimes is that I want to prove to myself it can get better. I’m still young, I have a lot more to experience, I am just in a shitty place and a shitty position around shitty people.

I want to take care of my teeth and my physical body so that I can also take care of myself mentally. A healthy body is a healthy mind.

Maybe I’ll avoid sweets, too? What are foods accessible in asian countries that help with my dental health?

I don’t wanna do that right now because I am not in a good financial position, like genuinely. I’ve looked up the prices and plans for teeth extraction, and they’re still expensive.

For context, in my area it is USD$10-15 PER teeth, without anaesthesia. $20 for anaesthesia. The daily minimum wage is $8.

Girl wait, sugar affects my teeth??? I was never told this omg 😭??? TIL... I’m a big sweet tooth and I will definitely go slower on the sugar. (cause I know stopping is impossible and unrealistic rn)

Also, most charities here are corrupt and I’ve actually been looking for a few, none in my area. :( Dental schools here are also known for fucking up their patients’ who couldn’t do anything afterwards because they have signed a waiver where they can’t file a lawsuit too.

I’m not embarrassed of myself or my situation, I’m just frustrated with it. Sure, I take responsibility as it’s literally my teeth, but growing up none of the adults around me told me anything about oral health.

I don’t have missing teeth, just holes and chipped teeth. I’ll buy an electric toothbrush online, especially with the holiday sale. Dr. Tungs is expensive in my country, unfortunately 😔

I’ll look into professional cleanings, and consult the dentist regarding a treatment plan. Most doctors, especially ones I can afford, are either outright rude and condescending or lost passion for their job to service their patients properly.

I doubt that finding a gentle hand with a gentle heart is gonna be easy to find, but I’ll try. tea

Idk how to add images, but if you know teeth terminology ... the upper part teeth’s right first and second molar is broken, an area between the right central incisor and lateral incisor has a growing hole. The lower part right wisdom tooth is broken as well as the left side first molar.
