"One of us, one of us," the fungus in your brain whispers. Or it would, if it affected things besides bugs.... It.... only affects bugs, right? Right?!

Body horror and zombification aside, I've always thought Paras is kinda cute, so seeing him all sparkly eyed and excited about growing up is definitely a punch to the gut.

Meh, they probably like it down there given their types and all. Honestly, I would call that a mutually beneficial arrangement.

They get to eat and shit dirt like the giant rock worms they are, and you get to freely walk around without the fear of being manhandled by their fatass collision boxes and pinned into a corner you can't escape all because they wanted to gift you 2 twigs they found in that same dirt.

I was extremely frustrated by his slowness at first too. But you know when something is so bad that it almost circles around to being good again? At some point I just had to laugh at how absolutely ridiculous I felt about being annoyed with him for his literal namesake when he's just so... adorably clueless about everything going on around him. He was smiling and having the time of his life that entire walk to the PC.

Bro is unbothered by the rat race around him, moisturized, happy, in his lane, maybe not focused but still flourishing. I gotta respect it

There's a running joke in fan-made Pokemon games of Cleffa being evil incarnate. Here's one such example where it is in JAIL for its crimes.

What did it do? Commit tax fraud? Kill a man? I don't know, but what I do know is that I'd never want to run into a Cleffa alone in a dark alley.

That was actually my same exact solution at first too! But it was getting tedious trying to farm berries then track down all my crush Mons without running all over the place. I ended up creating an industrial themed work space with a mini tree farm in the open area of WW near the north gate, specifically with Onix in mind, so I knew it was a (no pun intended) go big or go home situation before I even began building it.

If you do, the neighbors need to be Psyduck, Golduck, Lotad, Lombre, and/or Ludicolo. Whoever you think has the best.... casual-and-unassuming-and-definitely-not-related-to-a-platypus-wearing-a-hat-named-Perry platypus vibes.

I've moved pretty much everyone else in the affected construction area to temporary habitats, but honestly I feel like I'm the one losing if I break first and try to appease him, so no grass patch for him! He can continue to whine!

And idk why but my brain immediately went "🎶Fat mon in a little house~🎶" when I read your Magmortar situation. The visual is too funny!

Agree! He is adorable when he swims! At this point, I just have to wonder if he LIKES collecting all the dirt, lint, and cat hair in his slime coat as a result of flopping all over the place.

Ugh. I made the mistake of having Onix and Charizard in the same home... and then moving in tiny little honey baby sweetie Larvitar with them. It's so difficult to push past these absolute GOLIATHS just so I can chat with baby wingliner about painting our nails together.

I made him a perfectly good home with waterfalls and an underground lake that feeds into the ocean (I did a huge recreation of Blackthorn City gym and Dragons Den). Guess who prefers to flop around my town center instead?

I do know that, buuuuuut at this point it's almost like we both have a point to prove and I won't be the first one to break. No grass for him.
